SMART ENTRY SYSTEM
A smart entry system that releases a lock of an opening/closing body includes: a transmission unit that transmits a call signal to a mobile key by wireless communication; a reception unit that receives a response signal from the mobile key responding to the call signal; and a control unit that outputs a call signal transmission command to the transmission unit, performs authentication of the response signal when the reception unit receives the response signal, and outputs a command for unlocking the opening/closing body based on a result of the authentication. The call signal is transmitted by a polling system. The control unit includes an output strength setting unit that changes and sets an output strength of the call signal.
ANTENNA APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THEREOF AND VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME
An antenna apparatus includes: an antenna pattern unit receiving a radio frequency (RF) signal; a first ground unit; and a tunable switch unit electrically connecting the first ground unit to the antenna pattern unit and moving a RF signal band of an antenna when power is applied to the antenna apparatus from a power supplier.
Keyless Entry Systems
The present disclosure relates to an arrangement and a method for detecting the approach of an object and the teachings thereof may be embodied in a system for providing passive keyless vehicle access. A device may include: a communication device with an antenna to generate an electromagnetic field at regular intervals in a polling mode; and a processor to determine at least one operating parameter of the antenna whenever an electromagnetic field is generated, to compare the at least one determined operating parameter with a corresponding previously determined operating parameter, wherein a change in the at least one operating parameter indicates that an object is approaching the device, and to emit a signal if the comparison reveals that an operating parameter has changed.
Radome for vehicles
The radome for vehicles comprises a radio transmissive transparent layer (9) and a decorative element (6), wherein the decorative element (6) comprises a brightness and tone element (62) comprising a metal layer (621) and one or more metalloid layers (622). The brightness and tone element (62) preferably comprises two metalloid layers (622, 623), each metalloid layer being made from a different metalloid.
It permits to provide a radome for vehicles that allows to match a wider range of appearance specifications (brightness and color tone) defined by the car manufacturers.
VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE
A vehicle door handle for a motor vehicle is described, which includes an integrated transmitting and/or receiving device which comprises an LF antenna and a separately formed NFC antenna. The NFC antenna has a plurality of windings provided on a circuit board. The LF antenna has a plurality of coils wound around a core material formed separately from the circuit board. The NFC antenna encompasses a projection of the LF antenna on the circuit board.
ANTENNA MODULE
An antenna module includes: a magnetic core; a first electric wire constituting a coil into which the magnetic core is inserted; a capacitor having first and second terminals and connected in series to the coil; a second electric wire connected to the capacitor; and a base including a capacitor accommodating portion and a core accommodating portion, wherein the capacitor accommodating portion has first and second accommodating portions, the first terminal and a connecting portion of the first electric wire are connected to each other in the first accommodating portion, the second terminal and a connecting portion of the second electric wire are connected to each other in the second accommodating portion, and a portion of an opposite side to the connecting portion in the first electric wire and the second electric wire constitute a harness.
ANTENNA MODULE
An antenna module which is disposed on an inside of an outside handle of a vehicle door, includes: a magnetic core; a coil into which the magnetic core is inserted; a circuit substrate to which the coil is connected; a base which holds the magnetic core and the circuit substrate; a plurality of conductors of which at least a portion is embedded in the base and which are connected to the circuit substrate; and a sealing portion which seals the coil, in which the base includes a connector portion, a core accommodating portion which accommodates the magnetic core and which is inserted into the coil, and a substrate accommodating portion which accommodates the circuit substrate.
HITCH MOUNT FOR ANTENNA SYSTEMS
Various embodiments provide an antenna hitch mount for securing an antenna, such as a satellite dish, to a vehicle. According to one embodiment, the hitch mount includes a hitch mounting portion, a plate, and an antenna mounting portion. The hitch mounting portion is configured to be inserted in to a hitch. The hitch mounting portion includes holes that are on opposite sides of the hitch mounting portion and are aligned with each other. The plate is used to couple the hitch mounting portion and the antenna mounting portion to each other. The antenna mounting portion is configured to support an antenna. Namely, an antenna is secured to the antenna mounting portion by a fastening device, such as a mast clamp.
FULL-DUPLEX COMMUNICATION METHODS AND APPARATUS
Techniques are described for a full duplex communication method and apparatus for inter-vehicle communication (V2V). A communication apparatus includes one or more transmit antennas, one or more receive antennas, and a processor. For cases where a single transmit antenna and multiple receive antennas are used, a distance between the transmit and receive antennas is greater than a pre-determined value. Further, the transmit antenna is located on or in a central region of a top surface of the vehicle and the receive antennas are evenly distributed located on the vehicle. The processor configured to generate one or more messages to be transmitted via the transmit antenna, where the one or more messages includes vehicle condition information, operational information about a driver of the vehicle, or information associated with one or more sensors of the vehicle.
BACK DOOR AND REAR WINDOW GLASS
A back door including an opening, includes: a resinous outer panel; a resinous inner panel; a metallic reinforce disposed between the outer panel and the inner panel; and a rear window glass covering the opening. The rear window glass includes: a defogger including a first bus bar that extends in an upper-lower direction, a second bus bar that is disposed apart from the first bus bar in a horizontal direction and extends in the upper-lower direction, and a plurality of heating wires that connect the first bus bar to the second bus bar; an auxiliary element connected to the defogger; and an antenna disposed so as to be surrounded by the defogger and the auxiliary element.
