RECONFIGURABLE MULTI-BAND ANTENNA WITH FOUR TO TEN PORTS
There is disclosed a reconfigurable antenna device having a substrate incorporating a first groundplane, a two-arm antenna having first and second arms each having a proximal portion and a distal portion, a first unbalanced antenna located generally between the distal portions and adjacent to the proximal portions of the first and second arms, a second unbalanced antenna located generally adjacent to the first arm and a third unbalanced antenna located generally adjacent to the second arm. The antenna device may be configured with four or five feed points, and may drive from four up to ten signal ports.

ANTENNA STRUCTURE, RADIO FREQUENCY CIRCUIT, AND ELECTRIC DEVICE
An antenna structure, a radio frequency circuit, and an electric device are provided. The antenna structure includes an antenna matching circuit and a pair of antenna branches, and the pair of antenna branches include a first antenna branch provided with a middle-high band feeding point and a second antenna branch provided with a low band feeding point. The antenna matching circuit is coupled with the second antenna branch through a matching point, and a distance between an end of the first antenna branch and the end of the second antenna branch is less than a preset distance threshold. An equivalent impedance of the antenna matching circuit is an inductor or a high resistance when the pair of antenna branches operates in a low band mode, and is a capacitor or a low resistance when the pair of antenna branches operates in a middle-high band mode.
ANTENNA STRUCTURE, RADIO FREQUENCY CIRCUIT, AND ELECTRIC DEVICE
An antenna structure, a radio frequency circuit, and an electric device are provided. The antenna structure includes an antenna matching circuit and a pair of antenna branches, and the pair of antenna branches include a first antenna branch provided with a middle-high band feeding point and a second antenna branch provided with a low band feeding point. The antenna matching circuit is coupled with the second antenna branch through a matching point, and a distance between an end of the first antenna branch and the end of the second antenna branch is less than a preset distance threshold. An equivalent impedance of the antenna matching circuit is an inductor or a high resistance when the pair of antenna branches operates in a low band mode, and is a capacitor or a low resistance when the pair of antenna branches operates in a middle-high band mode.
ANTENNA APPARATUS AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
An antenna apparatus includes a ground substrate, a feeding point provided on the ground substrate, a first conductor device of which one end is electrically connected to the feeding point and which has a plate shape being parallel to the ground substrate, a second conductor device which is arranged between the first conductor device and the ground substrate, of which one end is electrically connected to the ground substrate, and which has a plate shape being parallel to the ground substrate and a connecting portion which electrically connects another end of the first conductor device and another end of the second conductor device to each other. A width of the first conductor device is wider than a width of the second conductor device. Lengths of the first conductor device and the second conductor device are ½ of a wavelength of a radio wave for operating the antenna apparatus.
Reconfigurable Multi-Mode Active Antenna System
A reconfigurable antenna system is described which combines active and passive components used to impedance match, alter the frequency response, and change the radiation pattern of an antenna. Re-use of components such as switches and tunable capacitors make the circuit topologies more space and cost effective, while reducing complexity of the control signaling required. Antenna structures with single and multiple feed and/or ground connections are described and active circuit topologies are shown for these configurations. A processor and algorithm can reside with the antenna circuitry, or the algorithm to control antenna optimization can be implemented in a processor in the host device.

An antenna apparatus includes a first patch antenna pattern comprising a through-hole, a second patch antenna pattern disposed above the first patch antenna pattern and spaced apart from the first patch antenna pattern, a first feed via electrically connected to the first patch antenna pattern, a second feed via penetrating through the through-hole of the first patch antenna pattern, and a feed pattern disposed between the first patch antenna pattern and the second patch antenna pattern, and having one end connected to the second feed via, and another end connected to the second patch antenna pattern at a point closer to an edge of the second patch antenna pattern than the second feed.

WIDEBAND ANTENNA SYSTEM
A wideband antenna system includes a metal radiating portion, an aperture contact, a feed contact, an aperture tuner, an impedance tuner, a first switch, and a second switch. Two ends of the metal radiating portion respectively include a first contact and a second contact. The aperture contact is electrically connected to the metal radiating portion and is located between the first contact and the second contact. The feed contact is electrically connected to the metal radiating portion and is located between the first contact and the aperture contact. The aperture tuner is electrically connected to the aperture contact, and the impedance tuner is electrically connected to the feed contact. The first switch is electrically connected between the first contact and a zero-ohm resistor to selectively effect connection of the first contact to the zero-ohm resistor. The second switch is electrically connected between the first contact and the impedance.
