Antenna device and method for transmitting and/or receiving a signal
There is provided an antenna device including a signal source configured to generate a transmit signal with a basic frequency, a control device, and a first transmit channel. The transmit channel includes a first frequency conversion device and a first transmit device with a first frequency pass band. The control device is connected to the first frequency conversion device, which is configured to perform time-controlled conversion of the basic frequency of the transmit signal to a first transmit frequency, which lies in the first frequency pass band of the first transmit device, in order to provide via the first transmit channel a first transmit signal with the first transmit frequency.
Multifunction channelizer/DDC architecture for a digital receiver/exciter
A digital receiver includes a digital synthesizer that generates a local oscillating (LO) signal at a selected frequency, and a signal mixer that receives an input signal and generates a mixed output signal in response to shifting a phase of the input signal based on the frequency of the LO signal. A multi-mode dynamic channelizer is selectively operable in a first mode and a second mode. The first mode generates a plurality of individual channels having a channel size defined by a bandwidth and a gain, and the second mode generates a parallelization of a selected channel. In response to operating in the second mode, the multi-mode dynamic channelizer adjusts at least one of the bandwidth and the gain of the selected channel based on the mixed output signal to change the channel size of the selected channel.
WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER ALONG A PRESCRIBED PATH
Systems and methods are described herein for providing wireless power to a mobile device, such as an aerial mobile device like an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A navigational constraint model may prescribe a navigation path along which a wireless power transmission system can provide wireless power to the mobile device. Deviations from the prescribed path may require the mobile device to self-power. The prescription of a navigation path allows for the use of reduced-complexity wireless power transmitters that are fully capable of servicing the prescribed path. Multiple embodiments of prescribed paths with various limitations and features are set forth herein, along with multiple embodiments of wireless power transmission systems of reduced complexity and functionality to fully service the various embodiments of prescribed paths.
RADAR DEVICE AND AIRCRAFT

Flight interference apparatus
A flight interference apparatus enabling it to block intrusion by a miniature unmanned aerial vehicle which is remotely piloted by radio communication into an area to be protected, suppress influence on communication within and outside the area, and reduce the number of required antenna devices. The flight interference apparatus includes one or a plurality of antenna devices which radiate a jamming signal from a directional antenna, and the directional antenna includes a radiating element which radiates a jamming signal of a predetermined frequency band and a reflector which gives directionality to the jamming signal in its radiation direction.
Two-dimensional scanning cylindrical reflector
A parabolic cylindrical reflector antenna that comprises two or more antenna feeds each directed towards a parabolic cylindrical reflector, wherein the antenna feeds are positioned in one or more line-arrays parallel to a focal line of the parabolic cylindrical reflector, and the line-array is substantially centered opposing the reflector. The antenna comprises a controller configured to scan along a straight edge of the reflector by electronically adjusting a phase of each of the antenna feeds, thereby changing the incident angle of an energy beam relative to the reflector. The controller is configured to scan along a curved edge of the reflector by moving, using a mechanical positioning mechanism, the antenna feeds in a direction parallel to a directrix of the reflector while maintaining the positioning or by electronically selecting one of two or more parallel line-arrays.
Antenna device including parabolic-hyperbolic reflector
An antenna device is provided. The antenna device includes a reflector having a profile of a parabolic shape in a first cross-section cut parallel to a first direction and a profile of a hyperbolic shape in a second cross-section, the second cross-section being cut perpendicular to the first direction and crossing the first cross-section at a right angle and a radiating structure having at least one phased antenna array adapted to illuminate at least part of the reflector and to scan a beam. The edges of the profile of the parabolic shape of the first cross-section are formed to be directed toward the radiating structure. The edges of the profile of the hyperbolic shape of the reflector are formed to be directed away from the radiating structure. The antenna device may be diversified depending on various embodiments.
WIDE SCAN PHASED ARRAY FED REFLECTOR SYSTEMS
Systems and methods are provided for wide scan phased array fed reflector systems using ring-focus optics to significantly improve the scan volume of such systems. The subject system includes a reflector having a focal plane and a parabolic curvature configured to receive electromagnetic radiation having a first gain and provide reflected electromagnetic radiation having a second gain greater than the first gain that collimates into a focal ring. The subject system includes a feed array having feed elements positioned about the focal ring, in which each feed element is configured to receive the reflected electromagnetic radiation from the reflector and collimate the reflected electromagnetic radiation into a scanned beam for scanning an annular region. In some aspects, the feed array is centered on the focal ring such that at least one feed element overlaps with the focal ring and remaining feed elements are non-overlapping with the focal ring.
