The protrusions 75 and an inner surface of the upper wall 24 are visually confirmable through the front opening 21 of the connecting tube portion 20.
WIRE WITH TERMINAL
The present disclosure suppresses, in a wire with terminal provided with a sealing member, buckling of a wire during insertion into a terminal mounting hole. A wire with terminal includes a wire having a core wire made of a conductor and an insulation coating covering the outer periphery of the core wire, a terminal connected to a lengthwise end portion of the wire, a tubular sealing member enclosing the outer periphery of the insulation coating, and a reinforcing material adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the insulation coating. The lengthwise end portion of the wire with terminal including the terminal and the sealing member is inserted into a terminal mounting hole of a housing. Also, the reinforcing material is provided in an area extending rearward from a rear end portion of the sealing member in an insertion direction into the terminal mounting hole.
Crimp Contact, Crimp Connection and Method for Making a Crimp Connection
A crimp contact includes a crimp barrel having a crimp base, a pair of crimp shoulders, a crimp region, and an impedance matching region. The crimp shoulders in the crimp region form a longitudinal seam when bent around an electrical conductor. An outer surface of the crimp barrel in the impedance matching region has a gradual expansion along a direction of the longitudinal seam.
Electrical contact element for electrical contacting with a counterpart contact element
An electrical contact element for electrically contacting a mating contact element includes: a plurality of contact lamellae which are arranged around a plug opening into which a mating contact element is pluggable along a plug direction and which together form a groove that encircles the contact lamellae around the plug direction; and a spring element that is arranged on the groove and engages the contact lamellae to provide an elastic clamping force on the contact lamellae. The contact lamellae each have an inner surface which faces the plug opening and is straight in cross section transversely to the plug direction.
Electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector assembly is provided. The electrical connector assembly includes a housing and two electrically conductive connection members. Each of the two electrically conductive connection members is arranged in the housing and is connected to at least one electrically conductive cable. The electrically conductive connection member has an electrically conductive terminal, a cable connection member, and a terminal holding member. The electrically conductive terminal has two leaf springs that are opposite to each other and a U-shaped connection part connected between the two leaf springs. The cable connection member is bent and has a first connection part and a second connection part. The terminal holding member has two sheet bodies that are arranged opposite to each other and a plate-shaped connection part connected between same sides of the two sheet bodies, so that the terminal holding member is in a shape of an inverted U.
Terminal-equipped electric wire manufacturing method and terminal-equipped electric wire
A terminal-equipped electric wire manufacturing method includes: an electric wire installation step of inserting a core-wire exposed part between inner wall surfaces of piece parts of a core-wire connection body, the core-wire exposed part having a core-wire diameter smaller than an interval between the inner wall surfaces of the piece parts; a melting step of melting the core-wire exposed part and the core-wire connection body by emitting a laser beam to the core-wire exposed part and the core-wire connection body from a free end side of each piece part; and a fixation step of fixing the core-wire exposed part and the core-wire connection body thus melted, with the emission of the laser beam stopped.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a wire; a wire-side terminal that is electrically connected to the wire; and a terminal block to which the wire-side terminal is attached, wherein: the terminal block includes a holding fitting that holds the wire-side terminal in a state where the wire-side terminal is electrically connected to a contact, the holding fitting includes a plate, and at least one of the wire-side terminal and the holding fitting includes a curved surface that is in contact with the other of the wire-side terminal and the holding fitting in a state where rotation in two directions around two axes that intersect each other is allowed.
Method of manufacturing terminal-equipped electrical wire and terminal-equipped electrical wire
A method of manufacturing a terminal-equipped electrical wire includes: inserting a core-wire exposed part of a core wire of an electrical wire at a terminal between inner wall surfaces of a pair of piece parts of a terminal fitting including a core-wire connection body formed of a bottom part and the piece parts protruding from both ends of the bottom part, and placing the core-wire exposed part on an inner wall surface of the bottom part; melting the core-wire exposed part and the core-wire connection body by emitting a laser beam to the core-wire exposed part and the core-wire connection body from a free end side of each piece part; and fixing the core-wire exposed part and the core-wire connection body melted by the laser beam, with the emission of the laser beam stopped.
Electrical connection terminal
An electrical terminal clamp includes a contact cage including a contact floor, a contact ceiling, a first contact side wall and a second contact side wall that connect the contact floor and the contact ceiling. The contact floor, the contact ceiling, the first contact side wall and the second contact side wall jointly form a conductor insertion channel. A conductor clamping device that includes at least one clamping spring that is preloaded against a reaction bearing and an insertion bevel for a conductor configured in a portion of the contact ceiling, wherein the insertion bevel is formed by a guide arm that extends from the contact ceiling in the conductor insertion direction and that is configured sloped towards the contact floor.
