The connector has an outer surface that has a first and second outer portions where the connector wall is generally the thinnest towards the first and second bore sections. Furthermore, the connector has a straight first through-opening which extends from the first outer surface portion to the first bore section, wherein a straight second through-opening is axially displaced from the first through-opening and extends from the second outer surface portion to the second bore section. The clamp includes a first housing portion having a first surface, a second surface, a first housing bore, and a cavity, the first housing bore extending along a longitudinal axis. The clamp further includes a clamp member at least partially disposed within the cavity of the first housing portion, the clamp member including a first clamp surface adjacent the second surface of the housing in a facing relationship. The clamp further includes a shaft oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis, the shaft coupling the first housing portion and the clamp member. The clamp further includes a second housing portion movably coupled to the first housing portion by the shaft, the second housing portion including a second housing bore and a second clamp surface, the second housing bore aligned with the longitudinal axis, the second clamp surface adjacent the first surface of the first housing portion in a facing relationship.

Terminal block

A terminal block includes a state display portion which displays whether a conductor portion and a terminal electrode portion are in a connected state or a non-connected state at a third opening portion and a movable display member. The movable display member has a main body portion capable of reciprocating in a direction intersecting a terminal connection surface, a contact portion capable of coming into contact with a conductor portion inserted from a first opening portion into an accommodating portion, a force transmitting portion which moves the main body portion toward the terminal connection surface when the conductor portion is inserted from the first opening portion to the accommodating portion, and rotating mechanism portions which rotate the state display portion so that display of the state display portion can be changed between a connected state and a non-connected state in accordance with the reciprocating movement of the main body portion.

TERMINAL BLOCK

A terminal block includes a state display portion which displays whether a conductor portion and a terminal electrode portion are in a connected state or a non-connected state at a third opening portion and a movable display member. The movable display member has a main body portion capable of reciprocating in a direction intersecting a terminal connection surface, a contact portion capable of coming into contact with a conductor portion inserted from a first opening portion into an accommodating portion, a force transmitting portion which moves the main body portion toward the terminal connection surface when the conductor portion is inserted from the first opening portion to the accommodating portion, and rotating mechanism portions which rotate the state display portion so that display of the state display portion can be changed between a connected state and a non-connected state in accordance with the reciprocating movement of the main body portion.

A branching structure for connecting a branch harness to a main line harness, includes connection terminals configured to electrically connect branch lines of the branch harness to main lines of the main line harness respectively, a terminal block on which the connection terminals are supported, and fasteners that respectively fasten the connection terminals onto the terminal block. Each of the connection terminals has a belt-shaped wound portion to be wound around a corresponding one of the main lines. The wound portion is fastened by a corresponding one of the fasteners so that both ends of the wound portion come closer to each other and a center portion of the wound portion tightens around the main line so as to be brought into surface contact with a bar conductor of the main line.
