The insulative body has a receiving room therein and is formed with a pressing hole and a wire hole, which separately communicate with the receiving room. The conductive member is received in the receiving room and has a seat and a contact portion tilted up from the seat. The elastic sheet is received in the receiving room. An end of the elastic sheet is in contact with the conductive member. The pressing member is disposed in the pressing hole and capable of moving toward the receiving room to push another end of the elastic member. The pressing member has a placement slot. Each of two sides of the placement slot has a blocking wall.

Conductive terminal and electrical connector

An electrical connector comprises a housing having a receiving passage and a conductive terminal inserted and removably mounted in the receiving passage in an insertion direction. The conductive terminal includes a body portion having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, a clamping portion disposed at the first end of the body portion and configured to clamp a wire of a cable, and a spring locking portion disposed on the body portion and obliquely extending from the body portion in a direction away from the body portion toward the second end. The locking portion is configured to engage a bottom wall of the receiving passage. The engagement of the locking portion with the bottom wall of the receiving passage is released by driving the locking portion with an external tool inserted in the insertion direction.

A contact terminal for connecting a pair of contact tabs includes a first tab reception volume, a second tab reception volume, a holder, and a contact spring attached to the holder. Each of the first tab reception volume and the second tab reception volume receive one of the pair of tabs in an insertion direction. The contact spring extends continuously from the first tab reception volume to the second tab reception volume and at least partially limits the first tab reception volume and the second tab reception volume on a side.

Terminal fitting

A terminal fitting including a cylindrical portion into which a mating terminal is to be inserted; and a contact beam provided inside the cylindrical portion, the contact beam extending toward an insertion direction of the mating terminal into the cylindrical portion, being elastically deformable along a deflection direction of the contact beam and including a protruding portion extending in a direction intersecting the deflection direction, and the cylindrical portion including a peripheral wall and an engagement portion to be engaged with the protruding portion to regulate a movement of the contact beam, the engagement portion including a first portion and a second portion protruding from the peripheral wall of the cylindrical portion toward an inside of the cylindrical portion to regulate the movement of the contact beam in the deflection direction and in the insertion direction respectively.

Coated conductive wire connecting method, coated conductive wire connecting structure and coated conductive wire connecting member

A coated conductive wire connecting method includes: making an end of a sheet-type conductive member accommodated in a sheet-type conductive member accommodating portion through a sheet-type conductive member insertion opening of a housing; holding a coated conductive wire by a coated conductive wire holding portion of the housing; and making a pressure contact terminal accommodated in a pressure contact terminal accommodating portion whereupon an edge of a terminal-side slit cuts and tears an insulating part of the coated conductive wire to electrically connect the pressure contact terminal to a conductor part of the coated conductive wire, while a spring contact of the pressure contact terminal elastically deformed passes over a step portion formed within the housing and elastically presses the sheet-type conductive member against an inner wall surface of the sheet-type conductive member accommodating portion to electrically connect the pressure contact terminal to the sheet-type conductive member.

A stable female terminal comprises a substrate. Two side edges of the front end of the substrate are turned to form two opposite elastic pieces. A slot allowing a male terminal to be inserted therein is formed between the two elastic pieces. The two elastic pieces draw close to each other to form an elastic jaw used for clamping two sides of the male terminal inserted into the slot. A female terminal external connection part is formed at the rear end of the substrate. Contacts have a large positive force when the male terminal and the female terminal are connected, so that the male terminal and the female terminal can be in contact more stably and reliably, and larger currents can pass through the male terminal and the female terminal.
