Poke-in wire connector for power connector assembly
A poke-in terminal includes a main body, a tab terminal socket at a mating end, and a wire socket at a terminating end. The tab terminal socket includes walls forming a tab terminal receptacle configured to receive a tab terminal. Upper and lower beam contacts extend into the tab terminal receptacle to interface with the tab terminal. The wire socket includes walls forming a wire receptacle configured to receive a wire. Poke-in retention beams extend into the wire receptacle to interface with the wire when poked into the wire socket. The wire socket includes a wire release element configured to be actuated to release the poke-in retention beams from the wire.
WIRING DEVICES WITH QUICK ACTING WIRE TERMINALS
The present disclosure relates to wiring devices. In some embodiments, the wiring device may include wire terminals and/or termination mechanisms arranged and configured to electrically and mechanically couple an electrical wire to the wiring device. In some embodiments, the wiring device may be in the form of a commercial or industrial grade electrical receptacle including a wrap-around strap. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the wiring device may be in the form of a three-way switch. In addition, and/or alternatively, an improved spring clamp is disclosed.
CONDUCTOR TERMINAL
A conductor terminal having an insulating material housing, a spring force clamping connection for connecting an electrical conductor in the insulating material housing and an actuating element. The spring force clamping connection has a busbar and a clamping spring. The clamping spring comprises a clamping leg having a clamping edge for clamping an electrical conductor to a contact section of the busbar, an attachment leg, which is in contact with the busbar and supports the clamping spring on the busbar, and a resilient bend, which connects the attachment leg with the clamping leg. In addition, the insulating material housing has a conductor insertion channel leading to the contact section and an actuating channel, which is movably mounted in the actuation channel and is set up to exert force on the clamping leg in order to displace the clamping leg against the force of the clamping spring into a hold-open position.
Clamping spring-type contact device having an overstretch prevention mechanism, and plug connector insert having at least one such clamping spring-type contact device
Disclosed is an overstretch prevention mechanism for a clamping spring (3) of a clamping spring-type contact device, the overstretch prevention mechanism consisting of a stop (21, 11) of an actuator (2) on a bus bar (1).
CONNECTION METHOD AND BATTERY PACK
To provide a connection method adapted to connect a bus bar and a voltage detection line in such a way that the possibility of electric shock is reduced in the case of performing re-connection in an assembled battery pack. A connection method according to the present disclosure is a connection method for performing connection between the bus bar and the voltage detection line in a battery pack. In this connection method, the voltage detection line is joined to the bus bar housed in a bus bar case made of an insulating material, and a spacer is fixed to the bus bar case under a state in which the bus bar and the voltage detection line are pressed between the bus bar case and the spacer made of an insulating material to thereby bring the bus bar and the detection line in close contact with each other.
