DISTRIBUTOR BLOCK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DISTRIBUTOR BLOCKS
20240055210 · 2024-02-15 ·

A distributor block includes: a supply input having an input terminal for connecting an electrical conductor; and a plurality of outputs, each output of the plurality of outputs having an output terminal for connecting an electrical conductor. The supply input is electrically conductively connected to a first current bar. Each output is electrically conductively connected to a second current bar. Between the first current bar and the second current bar, a fuse and/or a switch is arranged to connect the first current bar to the second current bar. A receptacle configured to hold the fuse and/or the switch is provided between the first current bar and the second current bar.

Power distribution clip assembly
10381183 · 2019-08-13 · ·

A power distribution assembly which may be a fuse clip or a switch includes a lug mounted to a block in association with a spring clip which confronts one side of the lug. A portion of the spring clip is mounted to the block and an upper spring arm of the clip is positioned on one side of the lug. The lug is mounted to the block and includes a downwardly projecting tang which is inserted through a slot in the bottom portion of the assembly to thereby couple the spring arm to the lug and block and to receive the end of the fuse or a blade between the spring arm and the lug.

Expandable blade-type distribution block

A distribution block element having opposed input and output couplings and integral complimentary mechanical connectors to additional adjacent distribution block elements, allowing expansion by addition of distribution block elements. Fuse couplings are spaced apart for a mini2 blade fuse and have a length that is are spaced apart for a maxi APX heavy duty fuse and for direct conductors. When two elements are connected adjacently, the spacing between the adjacent crossbar couplings is the same as the spacing between the opposed input and output fuse couplings in each element. Thus, identical crossbar conductors can be used both for electrically connecting opposed input and output couplings and for electrically connecting input couplings of adjacent elements.

Circuit breaker with current monitoring

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for current monitoring. For example, in a system that includes a first circuit breaker coupled to a primary power source and a second circuit breaker coupled to an alternative power source, there is provided an apparatus that includes a controller circuit configured to prevent back-feeding of power from the alternative power source to the primary power source via tripping the second circuit breaker, in response to the total current in the first and second circuit breakers exceeding a defined maximum level.

Mechanical disconnect switch with integrated fuse protection

A circuit protection assembly (CPA) is disposed between a source of power and a circuit to be protected. The CPA comprises a mounting block having a bore extending therethrough and a recess cavity on a first surface of the mounting block. A post having a first end is disposed within the recess cavity and a body portion extends through the bore. The body portion configured to receive a terminal and the second end configured to receive a securing mechanism. A fuse having a centrally disposed aperture is configured to receive the body portion of the post and to receive the terminal for connection to a circuit to be protected. An insulator disposed on the terminal and disposed beneath the securing mechanism. The insulator configured to isolate the post from the terminal and the fuse while allowing the securing mechanism to apply an amount of torque.

A distribution block element having dual-level opposed input and output couplings and integral mechanical connectors to additional adjacent distribution block elements, allowing expansion by addition of distribution block elements. First levels of the couplings are spaced apart for a fuse of a first size and the second, lower levels of the couplings are spaced apart for a fuse of a second size, and for direct flat plate conductors. When two elements are connected adjacently, the spacing between the second level of adjacent couplings is the same as the spacing between the second level of opposed couplings in each element. Thus, the flat plate conductors can be used both for electrically connecting opposed input and output couplings and for electrically connecting input couplings of adjacent elements. Notches in the flat plate connectors receive fasteners and two flat plate connectors can be juxtaposed to receive the same fastener without stacking.

Connector and mounting structure

There are provided a connector and a mounting structure, the connector including: a terminal fitting; an electric wire connected to the terminal fitting; a housing that includes a fitting portion having a shape protruding in a fitting direction with a mating part and accommodating the terminal fitting, an outer wall portion defining an internal space in which the electric wire is routed, and a hollow convex portion formed by a part of the outer wall portion protruding outward to have a convex shape in the fitting direction; and a fuse that includes a fused portion accommodated in a hollow portion of the convex portion and is connected to the electric wire.
