METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GROUNDING A HYBRID OR ELECTRIC ROAD VEHICLE WHICH HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT

A method for grounding a hybrid or electric road vehicle which has been involved in an accident, includes making contact with a body of a road vehicle which has been involved in an accident using a first grounding tool, and subsequently grounding a second grounding tool which is connected to the first grounding tool via an electrical line and an apparatus for grounding a hybrid or electric road vehicle which has been involved in an accident. The apparatus has a grounding line, a drive-in tool for being driven into a body of the road vehicle, and a grounding stake for being planted into the ground. The drive-in tool is connected to one end of the grounding line and the grounding stake is connected to the other end of the grounding line.

MULTI-PIN CONNECTOR BLOCK ASSEMBLY

A radio frequency (RF) connector block assembly having a plurality of connector pin assemblies mounted within a multi-connector block is disclosed. Each connector pin assembly has a dielectric and a contact pin positioned in a housing. Multiple housings may be independently removably mounted in the multi-connector block with independently movable contact pins. A first end of each contact pin is adapted to provide electrical continuity with an external component, for example, a connector, and a second end of each contact pin terminates distally in a connection feature, which may be connected to an external structure, for example, a printed circuit board (PCB). Each contact pin moves axially in response to movement of the connection feature by engagement with the PCB.

Plug-on neutral connection

A plug-on neutral circuit breaker includes a housing, a neutral terminal, and a biasing member. The neutral terminal is pivotally coupled to the housing and includes a body portion, a first leg, and a second leg. The first leg extends from the body portion in a first direction and the second leg extends from the body portion in a second direction. The biasing member is positioned within the housing and is configured to engage the second leg of the neutral terminal, thereby biasing the neutral terminal in a first rotational direction. The biasing of the neutral terminal in the first rotational direction causes a portion of the first leg of the neutral terminal to be urged into contact with a neutral bar of an electrical distribution apparatus in response to the plug-on neutral circuit breaker being installed in the electrical distribution apparatus.

Modular PCB Housing with Grounding Clip

A housing slice for forming a modular housing for mounting an electrical component on a grounding rail carries a grounding member for grounding the electrical component to the grounding rail. The grounding member extends outside of the housing slice but does not extend beyond the sides of the housing slice to permit side-by-side stacking of the housing slice carrying the grounding member with other housing slices with or without grounding members.

Terminal block

A terminal block assembly is provided, comprising a plurality of terminal blocks mounted on a common horizontal support member, including a supply terminal block connected with a voltage source, and a plurality of distribution terminal blocks connected with a plurality of loads, respectively, characterized in that the length and height dimensions of the terminal blocks are the same, but the width of the supply terminal block is greater than that of the distribution terminal blocks, and that the supply conductor contact arrangements of the supply terminal block are designed for connection with a supply conductor having a relatively large cross-sectional area, while the distribution conductor contact arrangements of the distribution terminal blocks are designed for connection with distribution conductors having a relatively small cross-sectional area. A conductive comb member extends transversely across the assembly to interconnect the electrical circuitry contained within the terminal block housings.

A conductor element includes a conductor lamina designed to electrically connect together two wires and a substantially vertical shaped body extending in the longitudinal direction. The substantially vertical shaped body including a bottom body section having a bottom free edge, a first end, a second end, and a flat-lamina spring. The bottom free edge extends in the longitudinal direction for resting in the vertical direction on a DIN-standard rail. The first end includes a tooth to engage with one of the two folded flanges of the DIN standard rail (B). The second end is opposite to the first end and is designed for engaging and retaining the flat-lamina spring. The flat-lamina spring includes a head and two flat-pins legs for engagement with the other folded flange of the rail.

Hybrid plug-on/pigtail neutral bar

A neutral bus bar for an electrical distribution apparatus. The neutral bus bar includes an elongated body that has a rail and a plurality of wire connectors arranged. Each of the wire connectors includes a side hole on the body and a top hole. The side hole can receive an electrical neutral wire such as from a pig tail type circuit breaker. The top hole has a mouth which opens onto the recessed channel and can receive a tightening screw to secure the received electrical wire in the side hole.

Plug connector module

Provided is a plug connector module for inserting in a holding frame of a modular plug connector. The plug connector module is provided so as to make electrical contact with the holding frame. A housing that forms the plug connector module is embodied from metal and can be connected in a mechanical and electrically conductive manner by way of a first type of fastener and a second type of fastening means to the holding frame.
