Electrical terminal, electrical connector assembly, and method of forming same
An electrical terminal is presented herein. The electrical terminal includes a base plate, a plurality of contact arms extending from the base plate around a longitudinal axis, and a wire attachment feature extending from the base plate and defining crimp wings configured to mechanically and electrically attach the electrical terminal to a wire cable. The plurality of contact arms form a socket configured to receive a mating electrical terminal. An electrical connector assembly including the electrical terminal and a method of forming the electrical connector assembly is also presented.
Angled bolt T-bar battery terminal clamp
A battery terminal clamp has a body portion with an intermediate aperture for engaging a battery post. The clamp further includes a threaded rod extending upwardly relative to the body portion at an angle to the horizontal of between 45 and 60. A battery pull bar extends from one side wall to the opposite side wall of the body portion. A wedge-shaped element abuts one side wall of the body portion. Together with the battery pull bar, the wedge-shaped element alternately effects a reduction in, or increase in, the size of the intermediate aperture.
Battery Post Terminal Assembly
A battery post terminal assembly includes a conductive band and a clamp mechanism. The conductive band includes a first free end and a second free end. The conductive band defines an aperture for receiving a battery post of a battery. The clamp mechanism includes a wedge member that defines a recess between a first surface and a second surface thereof. The recess has an open end and a closed end that is narrower than the open end. The first surface is convex. The first free end and the second free end are positioned in the recess. The first free end is movable along the first surface toward the closed end to be moved by the first surface toward the second free end to tighten the conductive band around the battery post.
Battery clamp device
A battery clamp having a first inner metal battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion, a second inner metal battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion, a first outer insulating battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion connected to the first inner metal battery clamp, and a second outer insulating battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion connected to the second inner metal battery clamp. The first inner metal battery clamp member and/or the second inner metal battery clamp member having a battery cable connector configured to allow a user to access the battery cable connector with the user's fingers or a tool while avoiding interference with the handle portions of the battery clamp.
CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR EXTERNAL CONNECTION BUS BAR AND CONNECTION METHOD FOR EXTERNAL CONNECTION BUS BAR
A connection structure for an external connection bus bar configured to connect the external connection bus bar to an external connection electrode terminal of a power storage element stack including power storage elements including electrode terminals. The connection structure includes: the external connection bus bar including one end part to be connected to the external connection electrode terminal; a receiving connector that houses the external connection bus bar and is fixed to the power storage element stack, and that includes a connector terminal to be connected to the external connection bus bar and to connect the external connection bus bar to an outside; and a fixing member that is provided to one end of the power storage element stack and fixes the receiving connector. The external connection bus bar includes a flexible part that is configured to expand and contract in a direction where the power storage elements are arranged.
E - Z PULL BATTERY TERMINAL
A method and apparatus for removing a battery terminal without damaging the battery post.
Contacting apparatus for contacting an energy storage cell
Contacting apparatus for contacting an energy storage cell (1) comprising at least one printed circuit board (5) which is provided for discharging the electrical energy stored in the energy storage cell (1), wherein at least one electric pole of the energy storage cell (1) is pressed by a releasable mechanical connection (7) with a specific contact pressing force against an electrically conductive layer (5c) of the at least one printed circuit board (5) which is located on a front side of the at least one printed circuit board (5) facing the energy storage cell (1).
Leaf spring fixing structure, electrical contact structure, and method for manufacturing these
Provided is a plate spring fixing structure and the like which do not necessitate complex assembling processes and thus can reduce production cost and can be reduced in size, and which enable adjustment, during a production process, of the extent to which the plate spring is bent. A holding structure (1A) includes a first plate spring (12) that has: a fixed portion (12a) embedded in and fixed to a first molded resin part (11); and a spring portion (12b) which is not fixed and which has a spring property. The fixed portion (12a) has a face that is not in contact with the first molded resin part (11).
Battery Clamp Device
A battery clamp is provided that includes a first inner metal battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion, a second inner metal battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion, a pivot pin pivotally connecting the first inner metal battery clamp member to the second inner metal battery clamp member, a first outer insulating battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion connected to the first inner metal battery clamp, and a second outer insulating battery clamp member having a handle portion and a clamp portion connected to the second inner metal battery clamp, the first outer insulating battery clamp member or the second outer insulating battery clamp member including a protective cover section covering an end of the pivot pin
