10978825 · 2021-04-13 ·

A covering element for an alternator pole includes a body which is provided with a portion adapted to be fitted on the alternator pole and a portion adapted to be fitted on the cable that is connected to the alternator pole. The portion of the body which is adapted to be fitted on the alternator pole is provided with coupling teeth which are adapted to allow coupling to a coupling flange of the alternator pole. At least one of the teeth is elastically yielding so as to allow the coupling of the covering element to different diameters of the coupling flange.

Battery cover

A battery cover including a main body, an opening/closing part provided on the main body, a flexible rib having a locking projection provided on the opening/closing part, an abutting rib provided on the main body, which has a locking recess to be engaged with the locking projection while the opening/closing part is opened to the main body, a contact portion that abuts on the locking projection and deflects the flexible rib when the opening/closing part is opened to the main body, and a flat portion provided on the contact portion, which abuts on the locking projection first when the opening/closing part is opened to the main body and extends in the direction orthogonal to the direction of force input when abutting on the locking projection.

Battery Connector

A battery connector for a battery having a terminal post, the battery connector including a main body with a terminal clamp end and a lead end, the battery connector further comprising: a clamp body including: a conductive body for conducting charge from the lead end to the terminal clamp end; a lead mount disposed at the lead end for mounting a lead; an arcuate wall which provides a battery terminal post aperture for receiving the terminal post; a substantially insulating clamp actuator; an adjuster including first and second cooperating ramps, the first ramp mounted on the arcuate wall and the second ramp mounted on the clamp actuator, at least one ramp or flange being movable between a wide position and a narrow position, wherein the clamp actuator is configured to cooperate with the clamp body to close the arcuate wall around the terminal post by a relative movement between the insulating clamp actuator and the clamp body. The battery connector also provides a lead mounting zone at the lead end and a lead end closure for controlling access to the auxiliary lead end for connecting and disconnecting the one or more auxiliary leads without disconnecting the connector from the terminal post.

Terminal-Equipped Electric Wire Manufacturing Apparatus and Terminal-Equipped Electric Wire
20200335926 · 2020-10-22 · ·

A terminal-equipped electric wire manufacturing apparatus, includes: a placing table on which a crimp terminal is placed while kept crimped to an electric wire; and a supply device that supplies an anticorrosive material to the crimp terminal placed on the placing table while kept crimped to the electric wire. While kept crimped to the electric wire, the crimp terminal has a communication hole allowing communication between an gap space portion in the crimp terminal and outside of the crimp terminalgap space portion. The placing table has a distribution hole positioned opposite the communication hole of the placed crimp terminal, the distribution hole allowing the anticorrosive material, supplied from the supply device, to flow in the distribution hole.

METHOD OF FORMING AN ELECTRICAL TERMINAL AND AN ELECTRICAL TERMINAL ASSEMBLY

A method of forming an electrical terminal is presented herein. The method includes the step of stamping an electrical terminal preform from a sheet of metal. The electrical terminal preform having a base plate, a plurality of contact arms radially extending from the base plate, a wire attachment feature radially extending from the base plate, and a carrier strip. The base plate defines crimp wings. The method also includes the step of bending each of the plurality of contact arms to form a socket configured to receive a mating electrical terminal.

A battery terminal cover (1) is mounted on a battery (2) to be installed in a vehicle and includes a body (10) to be fixed to the battery (2), a movable portion (20) coupled to the body (10) via hinges (50) and rotatably displaceable to a shielding position to cover a screw member bolt (6) mounted on the battery (2) and an open position to be overlapped on the body portion (10), and a tool restricting portion (30) provided on the movable portion (20) and configured to restrict the rotation of a tool (T) by interfering with the tool before the tool rotated about the screw member (6) contacts the vehicle with the movable portion (20) set at the open position.

Electronic connector sealing system

An electronic sealing system for sealing and shielding an electronic connector from detrimental liquid cleaners that are applied with or without pressure. The electronic sealing system includes a U-shaped holder, a gasket frame, a gasket, a top plate, and several fasteners. The U-shaped holder cradles the electronic connector. The gasket frame abuts a top side of the holder and includes an aperture. The gasket engages a portion of the connector via the aperture. The top plate abuts the gasket frame opposite the holder so as to encapsulate the gasket over the aperture and hence over a portion of the electronic connector. The fasteners secure the U-shaped holder, gasket frame, and top plate together so that the electronic connector is secured with the holder and so that a portion of the electronic connector is sealed via the gasket.

ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE FOR VEHICLE
