ELECTRICAL CONNECTION ASSEMBLY AND BATTERY PACK SIGNAL ACQUISITION DEVICE

The present invention discloses an electrical connection assembly and a battery pack signal acquisition device. The battery pack signal acquisition device has: a signal transmission bus; and an electrical connection assembly for electrically connecting a battery cell to the signal transmission bus to collect an electrical parameter of the battery cell. The electrical connection assembly and the signal transmission bus are respectively formed and electrically connected with each other. In the present invention, the electrical connection assembly can be replaced separately without replacing the signal transmission bus, which improves the convenience of use and reduces the later maintenance cost.

Systems and Methods for Flat Cable Installation

A device is provided for aligning a ribbon cable relative to an electrical connector to crimp the electrical connector onto the ribbon cable with a tool. The device includes a side portion and a central piece. The side portion includes an upper end and a cable track having a width sized to receive the ribbon cable. The central piece is coupled to the side portion and includes an upper surface. The upper surface of the central piece and the upper end of the side portion at least partially define a connector retaining segment sized to receive the electrical connector.

Electrical terminal for flat flexible cables

A cable assembly includes a flat flexible cable having a plurality of conductors embedded within an insulation material. A portion of each of the conductors is exposed via openings selectively formed in the insulation material, allowing for a crimping portion of an electrically conductive terminal to engage with the conductor within the opening. The crimping portion of the terminal includes a base defining at least one protrusion extending therefrom, and first and second sidewalls extending from the base. The base and sidewalls define an opening configured to receive the conductor therein, wherein the sidewalls are foldable into the opening for crimping the conductor within the opening and generally between the protrusion of the base and a portion of the sidewalls.
