Insertable wireless communication device for a power tool
A power tool may include a compartment in its housing and a first printed circuit board (PCB) located in the housing and electrically coupled to a first connector. An insertable wireless communication device may include a second electronic processor and an antenna that are each mounted to a second PCB. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to be received in the compartment and may include a second connector configured to electrically and physically couple to the first connector. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to wirelessly communicate with an external device. When the insertable wireless communication device is inserted into the compartment, a first conductive layer of the first PCB may be configured to be electrically coupled to the antenna via the first connector and the second connector such that the first conductive layer of the first PCB serves as a ground plane of the antenna.
EASILY DETACHABLE CPU CLIP
A clip for use with an electronic package, includes a frame structure with a pair of first side bars and a pair of second side bars commonly defining a receiving cavity. An ejection device is formed on one first side bar, including a stopper/kicker and a presser interlinked with each other in a co-movement manner. A latch is located around the ejection device so as to cooperate with the stopper/kicker to secure the electronic package therebetween in a vertical direction and retain the electronic package in the receiving cavity to result in an electrical assembly.
HAPTIC FEEDBACK WIRE MOUNT
An input device may include a wire element and a moveable substrate coupled to the wire element. The moveable substrate may include various wire alignment features. The input device may further include an input surface disposed above the moveable substrate. The input device may further include various sensor electrodes coupled to the input surface. The input device may further include a haptic actuator coupled to the moveable substrate. The haptic actuator may displace the moveable substrate in a direction substantially parallel to a plane of the input surface. The wire element may return the moveable substrate to an original position. The wire alignment features may allow, in response to an applied force by the haptic actuator and to the moveable substrate, a displacement of the moveable substrate in the direction that is substantially parallel to the plane of the input surface.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A LATCH SECURED TO BOTH CONNECTOR HOUSING AND INTERNAL SUBSTRATE
An electrical connector assembly includes: a connector housing receiving a plurality of contacts mounted to an internal substrate; a shielding shell enclosing the connector housing; and a pair of latches secured to the connector housing in a cantilevered fashion; wherein the latch has an arm secured to the substrate.
Modular field device connection unit
A field device connection unit has a main body, on which a plurality of connection elements for connection of connecting lines to field devices and a plurality of slots each intended for receiving a respective plug-in unit are arranged. The plug-in unit has a first group of field-side plug contact devices which are connected by the connection elements for connection of connecting lines to field devices, and a second group of system-side plug contact devices which are connected to a higher-level arrangement. For testing of the field device connection unit when the field wiring is disconnected, the plug-in units have a resilient latching cam, which latches switchably in a recess in the main body, the contacts of the second group of system-side plug contact devices being closed and the contacts of the first group of field-side plug contact devices being opened.
INTERFACE CARD FASTENING MODULE
An interface card fastening module is provided for assembling an interface card to a housing and electrically connecting the interface card with a main board having an insertion slot corresponding to the interface card, and the opening of the insertion slot is substantially parallel to the main board. The interface card fastening module includes a stopping member and an engaging member rotatably disposed on the housing so as to be movable between a release position and an engage position. Therefore, upon assembling the interface card to the main board, additional riser card would be not required. As a result, the space for installing an adapting member can be saved, and more components may be received in the housing or the size of the housing may become smaller. In addition, since the adapting member is no more needed, the manufacturing cost and assembling hours for the adapting member can be saved.
Circuit board with a connector having a latch that includes a latch frame, a latch slide, an ejector and a connector arm
A circuit board may include a connector having a circuit module latch that may include a latch frame and pivot-able ejector assembly coupled to the latch frame.
RAIL-MOUNTED CONTROL SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED MOUNTING
A control system includes a module assembly with a base. The base can be configured for engagement with at least one module having electronic circuitry disposed therein or other electronic device. The base includes at least one latching assembly with a lever operable to move a shuttle coupled to the lever to releasably engage the base with an elongated mounting rail.
