A contact assembly includes signal contact modules and ground contact modules arranged in a contact module stack. Each ground contact module includes a ground leadframe having a ground plate and a dielectric body holding the ground plate. The ground plate includes skewer pockets and spring fingers extending into the corresponding skewer pocket. The contact assembly includes ground skewers extending across the contact module stack. The ground skewers are received in corresponding skewer pockets. The spring fingers engage the ground skewers to electrically connect the ground plate to the ground skewers. Each ground plate is coupled to each of the ground skewers. The ground skewers electrically common each of the ground plates together.

The optical receptacle connector includes a receive optical connector coupled to the receptacle housing having a ferrule holding at least one optical fiber configured to be mated with a supply optical connector of the pluggable optical generator module to receive optical signals from the supply optical connector.

BOARD-TO-BOARD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ADD-IN CARDS

A board-to-board connector assembly includes first and second connector assemblies and a connector interconnect between the first and second connector assemblies. Each connector assembly includes an outer shell and a connector received in a cavity of the outer shell. The connector has a connector body holding contacts in a card slot, which receives a circuit card edge of an add-in card. The outer shell has an outer board guide configured to engage the add-in card and guide mating of the outer shell with the add-in card. The outer shell has a latch configured to latchably engage the add-in card to secure the connector to the add-in card. The connector interposer electrically interconnects the contacts of the connector assemblies to electrically connect the add-in cards.

A stacked card edge connector for mating with stacked pluggable modules includes a housing configured to be mounted to a host circuit board and including inner and outer contact channels and inner and outer card slots configured to receive card edges of module circuit boards of the stacked pluggable modules. The stacked card edge connector includes an inner contact assembly received in the inner card slot and an outer contact assembly received in the outer card slot.

Lighting device with plug connection for electrical connection of two circuit boards

A lighting device contains a first circuit board and a second circuit board. The first circuit board has one or more connecting sections having overall at least two contact areas. The second circuit board has an opening through which the connecting section of the first circuit board can extend. At least two contact elements, which are electrically connected to conductive tracks of the second circuit board, are arranged on the second circuit board. Each contact element has a contact region by which the contact element butts against one of the contact areas of the first circuit board. As a result, an electrical connection is produced between the two circuit boards.

The plurality of cable terminators are each configured to couple with a respective multi-conductor cable exiting the second section of a respective passageway. Each cable terminator includes a plurality of pins each configured to couple with a respective conductor of the multi-conductor cable and to extend to a respective contact surface. The contact surfaces of the plurality of cable terminators extend to a second plane. The first plane and the second plane are coplanar when the array is in the connection position.
