Electric connector for flat conductor
A flat conductor electric connector mounted on a circuit board and electrically connected to a front end side portion of a band-shaped flat conductor extending in a front-back direction, comprising: multiple terminals in such a shape that metal plate members are bent in a plate thickness direction thereof; and a housing holding, by insert molding, the multiple terminals arrayed in a terminal array direction which is a band width direction, wherein each of the multiple terminals has, at least at one end portion in the front-back direction, a holding target portion held on the housing and an extending portion extending from the housing and formed with a mounting portion to be mounted on the circuit board by soldering, and the holding target portions adjacent to each other and the extending portions adjacent to each other are arrayed and positioned in the terminal array direction. The mounting portion includes an opening to receive a pin of a molding device.
ACTIVE CONNECTOR RECEPTACLE FOR AN ELECTROSURGICAL GENERATOR
A surgical energy delivery system includes an energy delivery instrument with a plug having a substrate including one or more first plug contacts and one or more second plug contacts. The plug also includes an insertion portion. The system also includes an energy generator having a connector configured to couple to the plug. The connector includes a first portion having one or more first connector contacts and a second portion having one or more second connector contacts. Each of the first portion and the second portion is pivotable from a first position to a second position, in which the first portion and second portion are configured to engage the plug and the first connector contact(s) to electrically couple to the first plug contact(s) and the second connector contact(s) to electrically couple to the second plug contact(s).
CONNECTOR
A connector (10) is provided with a terminal fitting (60) to be connected to a circuit board (120), a housing (20) for accommodating the terminal fitting (60), a board accommodating portion (50) for accommodating the circuit board (120) in the housing (20), a retainer mounting hole (54) provided in the housing (20), and a retainer (80) for locking the terminal fitting (60) by being inserted into the retainer mounting hole (54). A thermal expansion difference between the retainer (80) and the circuit board (120) is set larger than that between the housing (20) and the circuit board (120).
Connector
It is the object of the present invention to provide a connector 10 which provides a stable connection that is resistant to the rocking motion of a connecting object in insertion direction, longitudinal pitch direction, or the direction of the thickness of the connector, while maintaining the low-profile level so as to prevent the deflection of the connecting object even when the connector is mounted on a flexible board e.g., an FPC.

Sealed FFC electrical connectors
A sealable FFC connector includes a housing, a plurality of contacts, a sealing member, and an actuator. The housing includes a slot configured to receive a mating component. The contacts are held in the housing and are configured to be in electrical contact with the mating component when the mating component is in a mated position in the slot. The sealing member includes at least a portion supported by the housing. The actuator is coupled to the housing and is movable from an opened position, in which the mating component may be inserted in the slot, to a closed position, in which a biasing force is applied on the sealing member such that, when the mating component is in the mated position in the slot, the sealing member provides a seal to prevent moisture and debris from entering the slot.
