BOARD MOUNTED CONNECTOR

To provide an inexpensive board mounted connector which achieves both a simplification in structure and a reduction in size.

A board mounted connector includes a fixed housing fixed to a board; connector terminals which are housed in the fixed housing and connected to a conductive portion of the board; an operating housing which is movable with respect to the fixed housing; and an elastically deformable support portion which presses, supports, and electrically connects relay terminals of electrical elements, which are inserted in the fixed housing, to the connector terminals along with the movement of the operating housing.

Electrical Connection Device

An electrical connection device includes a first jaw and a second jaw facing the first jaw in a closed state. The first jaw has a first insertion surface perpendicular to an insertion direction into a connection casing, a first surface facing the second jaw that is substantially parallel to the insertion direction, and an opposite first surface opposite the first insertion surface. The first jaw has a first recess. The second jaw has a second surface facing the first jaw and extending substantially parallel to the insertion direction, a second insertion surface introduced over the connection casing and perpendicular to the insertion direction, and an opposite second surface opposite to the second insertion surface. The second jaw has a second recess facing the first recess in the closed state. The first recess and/or the second recess has a rod at the first edge and/or the second edge.

CABLE CONNECTOR

A cable connector includes: a contact (45A, 45B) supported by an insulator (20) having a cable insertion groove (21); a lock member (65) rotatable about a rotation shaft (74), between a lock position where a lock portion (68) of the lock member faces a locked portion (98) of a sheet-like cable (93) inserted in the insulator and an unlock position where the lock portion does not face the locked portion; and a bias portion (80) for biasing the lock member to the lock position, wherein an inner surface of the cable insertion groove includes a reference surface (21a) which is an end surface in a movement direction of the lock portion from the lock position to the unlock position, and a rotation center G of the rotation shaft is located on a side opposite to the movement direction, with respect to the reference surface.

Connector having a moving plate

A connector comprises a housing, a plurality of contacts, a slide plate, and a moving plate. The contacts are configured to make contact with a plurality of contact pads of a mating connector. The slide plate has a cam face composed of a pattern of projections and recesses and expanding in a direction intersecting with the mating direction. The moving plate expands in an overlapping manner with the slide plate and receives an action of the cam face caused by the sliding of the slide plate. The moving plate moves toward the mating connector and pushes the contacts onto the contact pads of the mating connector.
