A socket contact and a method of making a socket contact is provided. The socket contact may comprise: a tubular body having: a first end; a second end opposite the first end, the body having an opening at the first and/or second end; and a plurality of slots forming a plurality of beam members, wherein at least one of the beam members comprises at least a first section that is inwardly raised relative to the remaining section of the beam members so as to form a narrower contact section within the socket contact. A first collar is proximal the first end and/or a second collar is proximal the second end. A sidewall portion extends between first collar portion and the second collar portion, wherein the sidewall portion comprises the plurality of slots forming the plurality of beam members, wherein each end of the beam member is fixed and anchored in the sidewall portion adjacent each collar such that in use when a mating pin enters the socket contact, the beam members are pressed outwards and the contact section remains substantially concentric about a central longitudinal axis of the socket contact.

A wire harness including: a wire; a wire-side terminal that is electrically connected to the wire; and a terminal block to which the wire-side terminal is attached, wherein: the terminal block includes a holding fitting that holds the wire-side terminal in a state where the wire-side terminal is electrically connected to a contact, the holding fitting includes a plate, and at least one of the wire-side terminal and the holding fitting includes a curved surface that is in contact with the other of the wire-side terminal and the holding fitting in a state where rotation in two directions around two axes that intersect each other is allowed.

A connector includes a terminal, an electric wire, and a housing having a tubular portion that accommodates the terminal and the electric wire therein. An electric wire connection portion and a terminal connection portion are provided on both end sides of the terminal. The electric wire connection portion is connected to the electric wire. A joining portion between an end surface of the electric wire connection portion and an end surface of the electric wire includes a protruding piece protruding in a radial direction of the electric wire connection portion. A first retaining piece and a second retaining piece configured to be locked to the protruding piece are provided on an inner peripheral surface of the tubular portion. The second retaining piece is disposed at a position shifted from the first retaining piece in both a circumferential direction and an axial direction of the tubular portion.

Terminal and a Connector

A terminal includes a bottom wall having a through hole, a pair of sidewalls disposed on a pair of sides of the bottom wall, and a first elastic arm extending from a first side of the through hole in a direction away from the bottom wall. The sidewalls and the first elastic arm contact a pin inserted into the through hole.

Outer Conductor and Coaxial Connector

An outer conductor of a coaxial connector includes a main body and a first connection part connected to an end of the main body. The first connection part is cylindrical and has a partition slit extending in an axial direction. A protrusion is formed on an inner side of a distal end of the first connection part and is electrically connectable with a mating outer conductor inserted into the first connection part. An outer diameter of the first connection part is smaller than an outer diameter of the main body. An inner diameter of a portion of the first connection part other than the protrusion is constant.

An electrical element holder includes a printed circuit board having a receiver. A resilient holder is electrically engaged with the receiver. The resilient holder includes a holding portion that is defined within an outward surface of the resilient holder and between opposing resilient arms. An electrical element is secured within the holding portion between the opposing resilient arms.

An integral stamped-rolled electrical contact element, comprising: a terminal portion and an adjoining soldered portion for electrically contacting a contact face by a soldered connection. The connector includes a mounting base and a binding post, wherein the binding post has both sides symmetrically provided with a fixed fin, the mounting base defines thereon a mounting groove for mounting the binding post, two sides of the mounting groove define a limit groove, and the fixed fin is clamped in the limit groove so as to enable the binding post to be limited to the mounting groove. The connector according to the present disclosure has good connection stability and can effectively transmit current or signal, enabling an effective cooperation between connected devices.
