HIGH VOLTAGE (HV) TERMINAL FRAME
A two-piece high voltage (HV) terminal frame having a terminal frame and a contact spring. The terminal frame includes at least a top portion, a bottom portion, and a middle portion forming an opening for receiving a first bus bar and a second bus bar. The contact spring is configured to engage the top portion of the terminal frame, wherein the contact spring includes a spring portion that extends into the opening of the terminal frame.
ELECTRICAL CORD CAP WITH EASY CONNECT HOUSING PORTIONS
An electrical connector body is provided includes first and second housing portions formed from molded plastic. The housing portions include first and second interface surfaces that are configured to butt against one another to define a housing and one or more electrical components are disposed within an interior of the housing. The one or more electrical components may comprise connectors of a male or female cord cap, an in-line surge suppression circuit, and/or a compact automatic transfer switch. In one implementation, each of the first and second connector body portions may include a strain relief extension for engaging an electrical cord and a compression member (3691) may be disposed over the strain relief extensions to secure together the first and second connector body portions. The compression member may be selected from a set of compression members based on a size of the electrical cord.
Terminal holder and connector
A terminal holder to be inserted into a connector housing and a connector including the terminal holder is disclosed. The terminal holder can include a pair of locking arms facing each other, a coupling arm connecting one of the ends of the pair of locking arms opposite each other, and a supporting arm connecting inner surfaces of the pair of locking arms facing each other, wherein a locking portion is provided on an outer surface of each of the pair of locking arms opposite to the inner surface. In accordance with an aspect of an embodiment of the terminal holder of present disclosure, the insertion force for inserting the terminal holder can be effectively reduced, the breakage of the terminal holder in the insertion process can be suppressed, and the terminal retention force for holding the terminal and the retaining force between the terminal holder and the connector housing can be improved.
Electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector assembly is provided. The electrical connector assembly includes a housing and two electrically conductive connection members. Each of the two electrically conductive connection members is arranged in the housing and is connected to at least one electrically conductive cable. The electrically conductive connection member has an electrically conductive terminal, a cable connection member, and a terminal holding member. The electrically conductive terminal has two leaf springs that are opposite to each other and a U-shaped connection part connected between the two leaf springs. The cable connection member is bent and has a first connection part and a second connection part. The terminal holding member has two sheet bodies that are arranged opposite to each other and a plate-shaped connection part connected between same sides of the two sheet bodies, so that the terminal holding member is in a shape of an inverted U.
Electrical Assembly with a Pluggable Connector Having a Through-Opening for a Receiving a Conductor Adapter
An electrical assembly includes a terminal block including a conductive bar having a connection end extending within a receiving recess of the terminal block, a pluggable connector releasably mounted on the terminal block, and a conductor adapter having a receptacle cooperating with the connection end in the mounted position. The connection end of the conductive bar extends in an insertion direction of the pluggable connector in a mounted position within the receiving recess. The pluggable connector has a central through-opening receiving and removably clipping the conductor adapter.
ELECTRICAL WIRING DEVICES WITH SCREWLESS CONNECTION TERMINALS
Electrical wiring devices that incorporate clamp-type wire terminal connections are described. The electrical wiring devices include for example, single and duplex blade-type electrical receptacles, blade-type locking electrical receptacles, single or multi-pole electrical switches, combination switches and blade-type receptacles, blade-type plugs for electrical cords and blade-type connectors for electrical cords. The electrical wiring devices include a plurality of contact assemblies. Each contact assembly includes a wire terminal and a plunger.
Receptacle Socket Assembly for Lighting Equipment
A receptacle socket assembly for lighting equipment comprising: a receptacle having a front side for receiving contacts of a control module, said receptacle housing a plurality of receptacle contacts, each receptacle contact being provided, at a front end, with a front contact portion for being electrically connected with a contact of a control module, and, at a rear end, with a rear contact portion; a wire connector having a front side and a rear side, said wire connector housing a plurality of connector contacts, each connector contact being provided, at a rear end, with a wire receiving contact for receiving and fixing a wire end and, at a front end, with a front contact portion; wherein the rear side of the receptacle and the front side of the wire connector are configured such that the wire connector is removably pluggable in the rear side of the receptacle.
ELECTRICAL WIRING DEVICES WITH SCREWLESS CONNECTION TERMINALS
Electrical wiring devices that incorporate clamp-type wire terminal connections are described. The electrical wiring devices include for example, single and duplex blade-type electrical receptacles, blade-type locking electrical receptacles, single or multi-pole electrical switches, combination switches and blade-type receptacles, blade-type plugs for electrical cords and blade-type connectors for electrical cords. The electrical wiring devices include a plurality of contact assemblies. Each contact assembly includes a wire terminal and a plunger.
FEMALE TERMINAL, CONNECTOR AND WIRING HARNESS
A female terminal is provided with a tube portion and a spring piece to be arranged inside the tube portion. The tube portion has an opening end, through which a male terminal is inserted, and a first inner surface and a second inner surface facing each other across the spring piece. The spring piece is cantilevered and supported on the first inner surface. The spring piece has a front side region configured to face the male terminal, a back side region to be arranged on the side of the first inner surface and at least one protrusion provided in the back side region. The protrusion locally projects toward the first inner surface.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION STRUCTURE
