WIRE WITH TERMINAL
A wire with terminal is provided with a single core made of metal, and a terminal to be crimped to the single core. The terminal includes a base plate portion on which the single core is placed, and a pair of wire barrel portions (barrel portions) projecting upward from opposite side edges of the base plate portion. The pair of wire barrel portions (barrel portions) include a pair of side wall portions projecting upward from the opposite side edges of the base plate portion and a pair of folded pieces folded downwardly from upper ends of the pair of side wall portions. The pair of folded pieces respectively include first contact portions configured to contact the single core from above, second contact portions at positions above the first contact portions, and third contact portions configured to contact inner surfaces of the pair of side wall portions.
PERPENDICULAR ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR WIRING
An electrical connector includes wiring with first and second wires. Each of the first and second wires have a conductor covered in insulation. The insulation includes webbing that interconnects the first and second wires to one another. The first and second wires have a stripped portion that exposes the conductors. A housing has first and second housing portions. The first housing portion receives the stripped portions. The second housing portion includes first and second spring features respectively configured to engage the stripped portions of the first and second wires when the first and second housing portions are secured to another in an assembled connector condition.
Plate-like conductive member connection structure and plate-like conductive path
It is aimed to provide a plate-like conductive member connection structure and a plate-like conductive path capable of reducing the number of connecting components. A plurality of plate-like conductive members (11) having conductivity and insulating members (13) configured to cover the plate-like conductive members (11) are provided, and the plurality of plate-like conductive members (11) are connected to each other by terminal portions (12) respectively provided on the plate-like conductive members (11). According to this configuration, since the plate-like conductive members (11) can be connected without using a connecting component such as a wire, the number of connecting components can be reduced.
Terminal fitting
It is aimed to improve durability by reducing a stress generated in a resilient contact piece. A terminal fitting (50) includes a box portion (60) in the form of a rectangular tube and a pair of resilient contact pieces (86, 87) accommodated in the box portion (60) and capable of contacting a tab (95) of a mating terminal inserted into the box portion (69) while resiliently sandwiching the tab.
Power connector
The present disclosure relates to a power connector which comprises an insulative housing and a terminal. The insulative housing defines a terminal receiving groove therein and comprises a stopping wall. The terminal is positioned in the terminal receiving groove and comprises a mating portion, a stopping portion and a wire connecting portion. The stopping portion abuts against the stopping wall and comprises a first horizontal portion and a second horizontal portion. The first horizontal portion comprises a first front end edge. The second horizontal portion comprises a second front end edge. A portion of a front end of the first horizontal portion and a portion of a front end of the second horizontal portion are cut off, therefore when the terminal clamps the wire, the first front end edge and the second front end edge do not splay forwardly and outwardly to protrude forwardly, but are parallel to each other or respectively extend backwardly, which thus can avoid the first front end edge and the second front end edge of the stopping portion from abutting against the stopping wall first due to the protruding.
Connector terminal and connector for easier insertion of a terminal into a housing
A connector includes a housing and a terminal held in the housing and to be mounted on a mounting member. The terminal includes a main body part inserted into a space formed in the housing and a mounting part provided continuously from the main body part and to be mounted on the mounting member. The main body part includes a bottom wall and a side wall provided continuously from the bottom wall. A groove is formed in the space. A tip of the side wall is inserted into the groove, and the groove guides insertion of the main body part into the space. The space includes an insertion opening opened toward the outside of the housing and an insertion main cavity which communicates with the insertion opening and in which to house the main body part of the terminal. The groove is formed in the insertion main cavity.
FEMALE TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR HAVING THEREOF
A female terminal includes a mating segment, a circuit connecting segment, and a bent segment connecting the mating segment and the circuit connecting segment. The mating segment has a mating axial direction, and the circuit connecting segment has a holding axial direction. The bent segment has a bent portion so that the mating axial direction is substantially not parallel to the holding axial direction. A first plane portion is between the bent portion and the mating segment. A second plane portion is between the bent portion and the circuit connecting segment. A connector having the female terminal is also provided.
FEMALE TERMINAL
A female terminal has a mating segment, and the mating segment includes a pair of channels. Each of the channels has a base wall, an upper side wall and a lower side wall. Each of the channels has a base part, a port part, and a connection part connecting the base part and the port part. A base wall of the connection part of each of the channels is connected to a base wall of the base part. An upper side wall and a lower side wall of the connection part respectively have a cantilever contact component connected to the base wall of the connection part. In each of the channels, a base wall of the port part is connected to the base wall of the connection part. The port part of each of the channels and a port part of another channel together form a frame port.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a female terminal, an insulative housing, and a cover component. The female terminal includes a mating segment, a holding segment, and a bent segment. The mating segment has a mating axial direction, the holding segment has an accommodation channel, and a wire is disposed in the accommodation channel. The accommodation channel has an accommodation-channel axial direction. The bent segment is connected to the mating segment and the holding segment. The insulative housing includes a mating accommodation channel and a holding accommodation channel, which communicate with each other. The mating segment of the female terminal is disposed in the mating accommodation channel, and the holding segment and the wire are disposed in the holding accommodation channel. The cover component is covered on the insulative housing, and has a buckling convex portion. The buckling convex portion abuts against a buckling shoulder on the insulative housing.
