M-LIKE ELASTIC CONTACT SPRING AND TERMINATED ADAPTOR CONNECTOR

Disclosed are an M-like elastic contact spring and a terminated adaptor connector. The M-like elastic contact spring comprises two contact portions at two ends and a connecting portion connected between the two contact portions, the contact portions are arc-shaped, the connecting portion is U-shaped, the contact portions are in arc transitional connection with the connecting portion, and the connecting portion and the contact portions form an M structure together. When the contact portions are in contact with the adaptor connector and stressed during usage, the M-like elastic contact spring at least has the following deformable parts: a bent part of the U-shaped connecting portion, transitional parts of the contact portions and the connecting portion, and the parts, close to the connecting portion, of the contact portions; thus, the bending stress of the contact spring under stress can be greatly dispersed, and the fatigue of the contact spring is relieved, and the problem that the contact spring is easily damaged by fatigue is solved.

Spring loaded electrical connector

An electrical connector that has a housing with a mating interface end section, an opposite cable termination end section, and an inner support member. A core is slidably coupled to the inner support member of the housing and includes a receiving end and a spring engagement end. A spring member is received inside of the housing and behind the core for abutment with the spring engagement end of the core. An interposer may be received in the receiving end of the core and remote from the spring member. The core is axially slidable with respect to the inner support member along a longitudinal axis of the housing between an unmated position, in which the spring member pushes the core outwardly away from the cable termination end of the housing, and a mated position, in which the core pushes inwardly against the spring member.

An electrical connector is used to electrically connect a chip module to a circuit board, and includes a body for upward supporting the chip module. The body is provided with multiple accommodating holes arranged in multiple rows. Each two adjacent rows of the accommodating holes are staggeredly arranged in a front-rear direction. Multiple terminals are respectively accommodated in the accommodating holes correspondingly. Each two adjacent rows of the terminals intersect to form at least one intersection area. Each terminal includes a base, an upper elastic arm formed by extending upward from the base for upward abutting the chip module, and a lower elastic arm formed by extending downward from the base for being downward conductively connected with the circuit board. When the chip module presses the upper elastic arm downward, the upper and lower elastic arms abut each other, the abutting position is located above or below the intersection area.
