The pins are connected to and penetrated through the insulated shelter. The pin includes a pin body and at least two protrusive portions. Each protrusive portion is connected to the pin body, and in a length direction of the pin body, the protrusive portions respectively extend corresponding contact portions. The contact portion is in contact with a corresponding signal pad of a circuit board, and the contact portions are at different positions of the signal pad. In additional, a terminal components of connector is also provided.
CONDUCTIVE TERMINAL ASSEMBLY AND CONDUCTIVE TERMINAL
A conductive terminal assembly and a conductive terminal are provided. The conductive terminal assembly includes a first conductive terminal and a second conductive terminal that are not in contact with each other. The first conductive terminal includes a first A contact portion, a first B contact portion, a first extension portion, and a first pin portion. The first A contact portion includes at least one first A contact arm. The second conductive terminal includes a second A contact portion, a second B contact portion, a second extension portion, and a second pin portion. The second A contact portion includes at least one second A contact arm. The first A contact portion and the second A contact portion are arranged side by side and form a first port. The first B contact portion and the second B contact portion are arranged side by side and form a second port.
CONTACT WITH TWO RESILIENT ARMS MAKING FOUR ABUTTING POINTS WITH A SUBSTRATE HOLE
A contact for mounting to a substrate includes: an intermediate portion; an upper contacting portion; a lower securing portion for being fitted into a hole of the substrate, the securing portion having a body and a pair of resilient arms; and a leg extending downward from the lower securing portion. Each resilient arm has a first section connected to the body and a second section angled relative to the first section. The pair of resilient arms form four abutting points, for contacting the hole, including a first abutting point defined at an intersection of the body and the first section of one resilient arm, a second abutting point defined at an intersection of the body and the first section of the other resilient arm, a third and a fourth abutting point defined at a free end of the second section of the two resilient arms respectively.
CONTACT AND CONNECTOR
A contact 2 shaped like a plate forming a first socket 201 and a second socket 202 for use in mating includes a first mating portion 21 that constitutes the first socket 201 and that is positioned toward a first side Si with respect to a reference position A, a second mating portion 22 that constitutes the second socket 202 and that is positioned toward a second side S2 with respect to the reference position A, and a connecting portion 23 that is positioned at the reference position A and that connects the first mating portion 21 and the second mating portion 22 to each other. The contact 2 is allowed to be displaced with respect to an engaging pin 111 in both a direction of rotation D1 on a first axis line L1 set along a plate thickness direction (z direction) of the contact 2 at the reference position A and a direction D2 parallel with a second axis line L2 diving the first side Si and the second side S2 from each other at the reference position A. The engaging pin 111 engages with the connecting portion 23.
Shorting terminal and connector
A shorting terminal includes a base portion, a contact portion, a folded portion, an opposing portion and a protruding portion. The base portion is in the form of a flat plate. The contact portion can short a pair of terminal fittings by contacting the pair of terminal fittings. The folded portion extends in such a manner as to be folded from the base portion. The opposing portion extends from the folded portion toward the contact portion and is formed such that an interval between the base portion and the opposing portion is smaller than an interval between opposing inner surfaces of a shorting terminal holding chamber. The protruding portion extends from the opposing portion to the contact portion and is formed such that an interval between the base portion and the protruding portion is larger than the interval between the opposing inner surfaces of the shorting terminal holding chamber.
Electrical connector and method for manufacturing same
An electrical connector includes at least one conductive terminal mounted to a housing. The conductive terminal has a body, two elastic arms formed by extending upward from the body, a conducting portion connected below the body and having a strip connecting portion to be connected to a first strip, and a connecting portion provided at an upper end of the body to be connected to a second strip to assist mounting and located between the two elastic arms. A method for manufacturing the electrical connector includes: forming at least one conductive terminal and a first strip connected thereto; connecting a second strip to the connecting portion of the conductive terminal; disconnecting the conducting portion of the conductive terminal and the first strip; operating the second strip to control the conductive terminal to be mounted to a housing; and releasing a control force of the second strip onto the conductive terminal.
Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple terminals accommodated in the insulating body. Each terminal has a base portion, a strip connecting portion extending upward from the base portion to be connected to a strip, and an elastic arm extending from the base portion. The elastic arm has a first tearing edge torn from the strip connecting portion, a second tearing edge torn from the strip, and a blanking edge blanked from the strip. The second tearing edge or the blanking edge has a dividing point. When each terminal is connected to the strip and expanded in a same vertical plane, the dividing point and a top point of the first tearing edge are vertically aligned. After the elastic arm is formed by bending, the dividing point and the first tearing edge are both located at a back side of the strip connecting portion.
First terminal assembly, first connector and connector assembly
A first terminal assembly includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal includes a first body portion and a first extension arm. The first extension arm includes a first contact portion to contact a second connector. The second terminal includes a second body portion and a second extension arm. The second extension arm includes a second contact portion to contact the second connector. The first contact portion and the second contact portion are arranged in a staggered manner in a left-to-right direction and a top-to-bottom direction perpendicular to a connector mating direction. As a result, a space between the first contact portion and the second contact portion is increased, thereby improving the quality of signal transmission. The present application also relates to a first terminal module, a first connector and a connector assembly with the above-mentioned first terminal assembly.
