Electrical contact

An electrical contact includes a retention section of an outer part and an extension section of an inner part parallel to each other and linked to each other via a transverse bridge located in another vertical plane perpendicular to both the retention section and the extension section. An upper contacting arm extends, toward the extension section, from an upper end of the retention section with an upper mating apex and an upper abutment tip region, and a lower contacting arm extends, toward the extension, from a lower end of the retention section with a lower mating apex and a lower abutment tip region. An upper abutment tab upwardly and obliquely extends from an upper end of the extension section toward the retention section and adapted to be mated with the upper abutment tip region when the upper contacting arm is downwardly depressed by the CPU.

The present disclosure provides, in one aspect, method of controlling an autonomous cleaning robot, the method comprising: navigating the autonomous cleaning robot to a docking station; sensing that the autonomous cleaning robot is navigating to the docking station; increasing a vacuum power of a vacuum assembly of the autonomous cleaning robot to reduce an amount of debris from an airflow channel proximate to an inlet of a cleaning bin disposed in the autonomous cleaning robot; and then decreasing the vacuum power of the vacuum assembly of the autonomous cleaning robot.

CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLY

A connector is mountable on a board and is mateable with a mating connector which comprises a mating terminal. The connector comprises a terminal held by a holding member. The terminal has a first support portion which is resiliently deformable, a primary contact point supported by the first support portion, a second support portion which extends from the primary contact point and is resiliently deformable, and a pressed portion supported by the second support portion. The pressed portion is movable in an upper-lower direction (Z-direction) and a width direction (Y-direction). When the connector is mated with the mating connector, the primary contact point is brought into contact with the mating terminal and is moved in the width direction. When the connector is under a mated state where the connector is mated with the mating connector, the pressed portion is pressed against the board in the upper-lower direction.

This document describes techniques and apparatuses directed to force distributing spring contacts. The disclosed spring contacts electrically connect a first component to a second component within a computing device. In implementations, the computing device includes a spring contact having a flexure coupled to a contact pin and configured to apply a force to the second component through the contact pin. The contact pin can include a small or precise structure configured to provide a precise electrical connection to the second component. However, the force to the second component through the small or precise structure of the contact pin increases an applied pressure, which can damage the second component. The disclosed techniques and apparatuses describe force distributing spring contacts with a force distributor configured to distribute the force to the second component over a larger surface area, thereby decreasing the applied pressure and preventing damage to the second component.

Two opposite sides of the base plate extend towards the plurality of the signal terminals to form two bending arms. Two free ends of the two bending arms extend towards each other to form two connecting portions. A middle of a rear end of the base plate slantwise extends inward and towards the docking connector to form one first elastic arm. Two rear ends of the two connecting portions slantwise extend inward and towards the docking connector to form two second elastic arms.

The present invention discloses a speaker which has a frame formed by side walls, a vibrating system and two conductive terminals. Each of the conductive terminal includes a soldering sheet, an extending arm, a connecting arm bending and extending from the extending arm and arranged on opposite to the soldering sheet, an elastic arm, and a contacting hook. The two extending arms respectively extend from the two soldering sheets at the sides away from each other. The two connecting arms respectively extend from the two extending arms towards the direction close to each other, and the elastic arms are arranged spaced from the side walls. Compared with the related art, the conductive terminals of the speaker of the present invention have the advantages of strong working elasticity and long service life.

Electrical connector with improved electrical performance

The present disclosure provides an electrical connector including an insulating housing, a number of terminals and a lossy member. The terminals include a number of ground terminals and a number of signal terminals. The ground terminals and the signal terminals are set adjacently to each other but do not contact each other. The ground terminals do not directly contact the lossy member. As a result, installation consistency of the ground terminals can be achieved, thereby improving the electrical performance of the electrical connector.
