CONNECTOR
A connector includes a terminal fitting that is connected to a mating terminal fitting of a mating fitting space, a housing that includes a fitting wall fitted into the mating fitting space and a terminal accommodating section that accommodates the terminal fitting and is inserted into the mating fitting space together with the fitting wall, and an annular or tubular elastically deformable sealing member that fills an annular or tubular gap between an outer peripheral surface of the fitting wall and an inner peripheral surface of the mating fitting space in a circumferential direction at a fitting completion position of the fitting wall and the mating fitting space where positions of axial centers of the fitting wall and the mating fitting space are aligned with each other.
Electrical Connection Device
An electrical connection device includes a first jaw and a second jaw facing the first jaw in a closed state. The first jaw has a first insertion surface perpendicular to an insertion direction into a connection casing, a first surface facing the second jaw that is substantially parallel to the insertion direction, and an opposite first surface opposite the first insertion surface. The first jaw has a first recess. The second jaw has a second surface facing the first jaw and extending substantially parallel to the insertion direction, a second insertion surface introduced over the connection casing and perpendicular to the insertion direction, and an opposite second surface opposite to the second insertion surface. The second jaw has a second recess facing the first recess in the closed state. The first recess and/or the second recess has a rod at the first edge and/or the second edge.

CONNECTOR
It is aimed to prevent a noise reduction function of a twisted pair cable from being reduced near the entrances of cavities. A connector (CO) includes a twisted pair cable formed by twisting a pair of wires, female terminals (9A, 9B) connected to respective ends of both wires (W) of the twisted pair cable, a housing (15) formed with cavities (18) for individually accommodating the female terminals (9A, 9B), and a locking lance (13) deflectably arranged in the housing (15) and capable of locking the female terminals (9A, 9B). A pair of the female terminals (9A, 9B) connected to the both wires (W) of the twisted pair cable are accommodated into the cavities (18) adjacent in a Y direction and the locking lance (13) integrally and interlockably formed to straddle between the adjacent cavities (18) is formed in the adjacent cavities (18).
System and method for temperature determination
In variants, an automatically-identifiable temperature probe can include: a probe body, one or more sensors, a connector, and/or any other suitable components. In variants, the method for temperature determination can include: determining a set of electrical signals, determining a temperature probe type based on the set of electrical signals, determining a sensor resolution model based on the temperature probe type, and determining a set of final temperature estimates based on the set of electrical signals and the sensor resolution model.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING INETRENGAGED GROUNDING CONTACTS
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a number of terminals and a metallic shielding plate s retained in the insulative housing, and a shielding shell attached to the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a base portion and a tongue portion extending forwardly from the base portion along an insertion direction. The terminals define a number of first contacts and second contacts. The first contacts and second contacts respectively define a pair of grounding contacts located at two sides thereof. Each grounding contact of the second contacts has a hook portion bent upwardly and extending inwardly from outmost edge thereof and located above the grounding contact of the first contacts located at the same side. A free end of the hook portion is contacted with the grounding contact of the first contacts at same side physically and electrically.
Power-Electric Contact Device; Exchangeable Power-Electric Contact Module As Well As Power-Electric Connector
A contact for an electrical connector includes a contact section and a connecting section. The connecting section is separable from the contact section.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH TWO-PIECE CAVITY INSERT
An electrical connector includes an outer contact and a cavity insert. The outer contact has a mating segment, a terminating segment, and a middle segment therebetween. The cavity insert surrounds the middle segment of the outer contact. The cavity insert is defined by an upper shell and a lower shell that couple together at an interface. The upper shell extends along a portion of a perimeter of the outer contact, and the lower shell extends along a remaining portion of the perimeter of the outer contact. The upper shell includes a first strap that extends across the interface. The first strap includes a latching surface that engages a corresponding first catch of the lower shell to couple the upper shell to the lower shell.
