Terminal protection device of connector
The present disclosure relates to a terminal protection device of a connector capable of protecting a terminal from an external impact, thereby preventing deformation of the terminal, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide a terminal protection device of a connector capable of implementing a terminal protection structure using a conventional moving plate with a minimum configuration.
Connector position assurance member
A connector position assurance (CPA) member for assuring the engagement of a female housing with a male housing. The CPA member includes arms designed to stably and securely fit with apertures formed by the female housing. Also, the female housing includes a connector latch which engages with the CPA member and which used to securely hold together the female housing and the male housing.
TERMINAL-EQUIPPED ELECTRIC WIRE, CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CONNECTOR
A terminal-equipped electric wire, a connector including the terminal-equipped electric wire and a manufacturing method of the connector are provided. The terminal-equipped electric wire includes an electric wire including a conductor core wire formed of a conductor material and a terminal formed of a composite metal material in which a plurality of types of metal materials are clad-bonded with each other. The terminal includes a first connection portion and a second connection portion, each of which is formed of a metal material of respective one of the plurality of types of metal materials. The conductor core wire is electrically connected to one of the first and second connection portions, the one corresponding to the conductor material forming the conductor core wire.
JOINT CONNECTOR
A joint connector 10 for connecting a plurality of electric wires 11 is provided with: a lower housing 30; an upper cover 60 assembled onto the lower housing 30; a plurality of terminals 12 respectively connected to front ends of the plurality of electric wires 11 in an extending direction thereof; and a busbar 50 connected to the plurality of terminals 12. The busbar 50 disposed on the lower housing 30 has a plurality of tabs 52. Each of the plurality of terminals 12 disposed on the lower housing 30 includes: a tube portion 17 into which a corresponding one of the plurality of tabs 52 is inserted; pinching portions 18A, 18B extending in the extending direction and pinching one of the plurality of electric wires 11; and a slide portion 16 disposed on the outside of the pinching portions 18A, 18B and moveable along the extending direction. The slide portion 16 includes pressing portions 25A, 25B which, in a state in which one of the plurality of electric wires 11 is pinched between the pinching portions 18A, 18B, presses the pinching portions 18A, 18B toward the electric wire 11. A terminal holding portion 63 protruding downward from the upper cover 60 engages with the terminals 12.
GROUNDING ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A grounding electrical connector assembly may have a connector subassembly and a terminal subassembly. The connector subassembly may include a connector housing having a body defining a terminal cavity therein and a ground bar, secured to the connector housing, having electrical contacts extending into the terminal cavity and a portion that secures to grounding structure. The terminal subassembly may include a terminal housing having a main body defining terminal cavities extending therethrough that each receive one of a plurality of terminals, the main body telescopically slidable into and releasably secured to the terminal cavity.
Connector Assembly
An embodiment connector assembly includes a housing including an inner space formed therein, wherein ends of a main-line terminal and a sub-line terminal are inserted into a first side of the inner space, a main-line port inserted into and fixed to the inner space of the housing and electrically connected to the end of the main-line terminal inserted into the inner space, a sub-line port inserted into and fixed to the inner space of the housing and electrically connected to the end of the sub-line terminal inserted into the inner space, and a noise filter disposed between the main-line port and the sub-line port and electrically connected to each of the main-line port and the sub-line port, wherein the noise filter is configured to reduce a noise in a signal transmitted between the main-line port and the sub-line port.
Connector housing, mating connector housing and system
A connector housing for an electrical connector includes a housing part and a shielding element disposed on the housing part. The shielding element has a contact spring contacting a shielding part of a mating connector housing. The contact spring is bent and pressed against the shielding part during a plugging operation between the connector housing and the mating connector housing.
Charging connector
A connector includes a terminal, a housing to accommodate the terminal and a retainer including a locking portion to lock the terminal when the terminal is accommodated in the housing. The housing includes a front housing having a terminal accommodating chamber and a rear housing to be attached to the front housing from a rear side of an insertion direction of the terminal, the rear housing including a lance to, when the terminal is accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber, lock a rear portion of the terminal. The retainer is to be attached between the front housing and the rear housing and to be displaceable along a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction between a locking position and a non-locking position. The retainer moves from the non-locking position to the locking position and the locking portion locks the rear portion of the terminal in the insertion direction.
Joint Connector
A joint connector includes a cap, a plug received in the cap in a mounting direction, and a clip mounted along the mounting direction to fix the cap and the plug, wherein the plug comprises a flexible locking element configured to simultaneously fix the cap and the clip. The locking element is connected to the plug deformably in a vertical direction with respect to the plug.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A connector assembly includes: a housing having a plurality of accommodating grooves into which a plurality of terminals are insertable, respectively, and having an insertion space recessed in a first direction intersecting a second direction in which the accommodating grooves extend, the plurality of accommodating grooves being formed in one surface of the housing; a terminal position assurance (TPA) mechanism inserted into the insertion space of the housing in the first direction, having a plurality of through-holes extending parallel to the plurality of accommodating grooves, and inhibiting the terminals inserted into the through-holes from being separated; joint terminals extending from an inside of the housing to the accommodating grooves, and electrically connected to the terminals inserted into the accommodating grooves; and a noise filter fixed to the housing or the TPA mechanism, and enclosing the accommodating grooves of the housing, the through-holes of the TPA mechanism, or the joint terminals.
