CONNECTOR FOR A FLAT FLEXIBLE CABLE

A connector for a flat flexible cable includes a housing portion and a plurality of terminals. The housing portion has a retention section and a crimping section. The retention section has a plurality of terminal receiving passageways. The plurality of terminals each have a contact portion held in one of the plurality of terminal receiving passageways and a crimping portion exposed in the crimping section. A plurality of conductors exposed in a window extending through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable are each crimped in the crimping portion of one of the plurality of terminals.

Provided is a connector including at least one plate-like housing body, a plurality of groove-like terminal housing chambers each opened in an upper surface of the housing body and parallelly arranged, a plurality of connection terminals provided at ends of a plurality of electrical wirings and housed and disposed in the terminal housing chambers, respectively, and a cover part overlapping with the upper surface of the housing body to cover the terminal housing chambers, wherein an elastic locking claw, which allows each of the connection terminals to be inserted into each of the terminal housing chambers by elastic deformation and is locked to each of the connection terminals to prevent each of the connection terminals from coming out of each of the terminal housing chambers by elastic restoring, is provided to protrude from a bottom surface of each of the terminal housing chambers.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A connector assembly includes: a housing having a plurality of accommodating grooves into which a plurality of terminals are insertable, respectively, and having an insertion space recessed in a direction intersecting a direction in which the accommodating grooves extend, the plurality of accommodating grooves being formed in one surface of the housing; a terminal position assurance (TPA) mechanism inserted into the insertion space of the housing in the direction intersecting the direction in which the accommodating grooves extend, and preventing the plurality of terminals inserted into the accommodating grooves from being separated; and a connection device fixed to the housing or the TPA mechanism and forming a circuit electrically connected to the plurality of terminals inserted into the accommodating grooves.

Connector with terminal fitting and restricting portion

A connector includes a terminal fitting, a housing body, a retainer portion and a hinge portion. The housing body accommodates the terminal fitting. The retainer portion openably and closably rotate with respect to the housing body. The hinge portion is coupled to the retainer portion and the housing body and constitutes a rotation center axis of the retainer portion. The housing body includes a cavity configured to accommodate the terminal fitting inside and a locking lance projecting into the cavity to lock the terminal fitting. The retainer portion includes a restricting portion configured to restrict rearward escape of the terminal fitting by projecting into the cavity when the retainer portion is in a closed state with respect to the housing body, and a front wall arranged in front of the locking lance in the closed state.

A connector 10 of the present disclosure is provided with a plurality of terminals 30, a plurality of wires 20, a plurality of sub-housings 60, 70 and a lock member 80. The terminal 30 includes a locked portion. The sub-housings 60, 70 include cavities 61, 71 for accommodating the terminals 30 and locking portions for retaining the terminals 30 by locking the locked portions from behind. The plurality of wires 20 are respectively pulled out rearward from the plurality of terminals 30. The plurality of sub-housings 60, 70 are assembled with each other with the locked portions of the terminals 30 facing in the same direction, and held in an assembled state by the lock member 80.

This application discloses a coil spring type wire-locking terminal block, including a plurality of insulating seats arranged in sequence. A mounting groove is formed in each insulating seat. A wire inlet hole is formed in one side wall of the mounting groove. A connecting terminal is mounted at the bottom of the mounting groove, one end of the connecting terminal penetrates through the bottom of the mounting groove, and a first through hole is formed at one side of the connecting terminal. A wire locking frame is slidably connected in the mounting groove. A compression elastic member is arranged in the wire locking frame, and a second through hole is formed in the side wall of the wire locking frame. The wire inlet hole, the first through hole and the second through hole are arranged corresponding to each other.
