The housing defines a cable receiving cavity and includes a conductive connector shield extending within a portion of the cavity. The cover assembly has a back cover that includes an end wall that mates with the housing adjacent to the cable receiving cavity; a cable support wall extending from the end wall and defining a cable passage extending through the end wall, with the cable support wall configured to receive a shielded cable therein; and a conductive spring clip fixed to the cable support wall and having a first leg configured to be biased into contact with a conductive ferrule of the shielded cable and a second leg, on an opposed side of the cable support wall, spring biased into contact with the connector shield.

Sealed electrical plug with temperature sensors

A sealed electrical plug comprises at least one temperature sensor for monitoring an internal temperature of the electrical plug. The electrical plug further comprises a data cable that is wrapped by a shield for screening electrical noise so as to accurately capture and convey temperature data. The electrical plug further comprises a housing or holder for receiving the at least one temperature sensor, wherein the housing is capable of being embedded within an inner-mold of the electrical plug and positioned close to at least one pin. One or more seals may be placed at junctions between the at least one pin and the inner-mold and a cable for the data cable to seal the inner-mold from air, moisture and particles.

Housing part for an electrical connector with improved sealing and housing assembly

A housing part for an electrical connector includes a cable channel receiving a cable, a flange surface adapted to abut a complementary housing part, and a sealing gasket extending along the flange surface. The sealing gasket has a pair of cable sealing portions extending across the cable channel. The cable sealing portions are spaced apart from one another in an axial direction of the cable channel.

A waterproof connector is a connectable to a device-side connector (80) and has a housing (30) with a fitting (34) that can fit into an outer tube (82) of the device-side connector (80). A connector seal ring (36) is fit on an outer peripheral surface of the fitting (34) and is held resiliently in close contact with the outer tube (82) and the fitting (34). Individual terminal accommodating portions (37) are provided in the housing (30) and can fit into device-side cavities (84) provided in the device-side connector (80). Individual seal rings (38) are fitted on outer peripheral surfaces of the individual terminal accommodating portions (37) and are held resiliently in close contact with inner peripheral surfaces of the device-side cavities (84) and the individual terminal accommodating portions (37). The connector seal rings (36) and the individual seal rings are displaced in a front-rear direction.

WATER RESISTANT CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A water resistant connector assembly includes first and second connectors. Each connector has a housing and a water resistant seal. Each connector is formed in a two-shot operation with the housing being formed of polypropylene and the seal being formed of a thermoplastic elastomer. The seal of one of the connectors has a portion that is provided on an outer surface thereof and has ribs which fold over in a direction opposite a water ingression direction when the second connector is connected to the first convector, thereby creating a seal between the connectors when they are connected. The seals of each of the connectors are also provided at terminal/wire insertion areas, and these seals ensure proper insertion of the terminal/wires. These seals may further include strain relief portions to provide resistance to angularity of the wire.

HIGH VOLTAGE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND MOTOR-OPERATED COMPRESSOR INCLUDING THE SAME

A high-voltage connector assembly and a motor-operated compressor including the same are disclosed. The high-voltage connector assembly according to embodiments disclosed herein may include a cover defining an outer appearance and a shielding plate designed to shield an electrical noise signal. The cover and the shielding plate may be integrally formed by a double shot molding or insert injection molding. Accordingly, manufacturing time and costs of the cover and the shielding plate may be reduced. In addition, the cover and the shielding plate may be coupled to each other in a more stable manner. Further an outer circumferential portion of the shielding plate may have a higher roughness than the cover. Alternatively, the outer circumferential portion of the shielding plate may be provided with a plate protrusion or an uneven portion. Accordingly, a contact area between the shielding plate and the cover may be increased.

WIRE HARNESS

A wire harness includes a conductive path configured to electrically connect between high-voltage devices. The conductive path includes a main line and a branch line that branches from the main line. An overcurrent cut-off portion is disposed on a way of the branch line to cut off an overcurrent.

Connector plug having a sealing hook with a bevel surface and flexible ridges

A connector plug comprises a hook with flexible edges. The hook has a first beveled surface and a second flat surface. A stopper is coupled to the flat surface of the hook by a first barrel portion of the connector plug. The stopper is coupled to a plurality of ridges with flexible edges by a second barrel portion. The plurality of ridges are also coupled to each other by the second barrel portion. A via extends through the connector plug from one end of the connector plug to the other end of the connector plug.

Compact robust connector assembly for high voltage electrical heaters

An electrical heater and method includes heating member, a cable, and a connector. A resistance heating element is within a sheath of the heating member. A proximal end of the sheath is inserted into a slot of a first fitting and welded to the first fitting with first and second leads extending into the first fitting. The second fitting is threadably engaged with the first fitting. The second fitting defines a central bore disposed about the axis. An end of a power cable extends into the second central bore. A first wire is coupled to the first lead. A second wire is coupled to the second lead.
