SCR doser
A SCR doser includes an electrical adapter extending from an inner end electrically connected to the pins of a solenoid to an outer end having electrical terminals. The outer end outwardly protrudes from an aperture provided in a base wall of the housing of the SCR doser.
Method for checking a sealing of a plug connection, and plug connection
A method checks a sealing of an interior space of a plug connection that is to be tested. The plug connection has two plug connection elements, namely a plug connector element and a mating connector element, the plug connector element being plugged into the mating connector element in a plug-in direction. One of the plug connection elements additionally has a test opening to the interior space, via which, for the purpose of checking the sealing, a test medium is applied to the interior space, and the test opening is then sealed toward the interior space.
Hermetic terminal for an active implantable medical device having a feedthrough capacitor partially overhanging a ferrule for high effective capacitance area
A filter feedthrough for an AIMD includes an electrically conductive ferrule. An insulator hermetically seals a ferrule opening with either a first gold braze, a ceramic seal, a glass seal or a glass-ceramic seal. At least one conductive pathway is hermetically sealed to and disposed through the insulator body in non-conductive relationship with the ferrule. A feedthrough capacitor includes at least one active and ground electrode plate disposed within a capacitor dielectric and electrically connected to a capacitor active metallization and a capacitor ground metallization, respectively. At least a first edge of the feedthrough capacitor extends beyond a first outermost edge of the ferrule. At least a second edge of the feedthrough capacitor does not extend beyond a second outermost edge of the ferrule, or said differently, the second edge is either aligned with or setback from the second outermost edge of the ferrule.
WATERPROOF CONNECTOR
A waterproof connector, including: a seal including an insertion hole as a through hole; and a connector terminal configured as a male terminal including a tab to be fit and connected to a mating terminal, wherein: the connector terminal is inserted into the insertion hole of the seal along an insertion axis, and a width of the tab of the connector terminal has a tab width W and an inner diameter of a narrowest part having a smallest inner diameter of a transverse cross-section orthogonal to the insertion axis in the insertion hole has a minimum hole diameter Dm, the minimum hole diameter Dm satisfies 1.1<Dm/W<1.4 in a state where the connector terminal is not inserted in the insertion hole.
Electrical connector system with a latch that permits rotation of connector housings into electrical connection
A waterproof electrical connector system enables quick and easy coupling of a first and second housing to electrically connect a first and second electrical cable connected thereto. The electrical cables extend into a fixed portion of the housings and are electrically coupled with a bridging connector that is configured in a rotating portion of the housing. The assembly of the first and second housings has a latch and latch extension that can be moved along a radial portion of a latch channel to a circumferential portion of the latch channel to enable the rotating portions of the housings to be rotated. Upon rotating the rotating portions, the electrical cables are electrically connected by the bridging connector. The two housings may be substantially the same, having the same components and the same geometry. Each housing may have an inner and outer latch channel and latch interface, making operation quick and easy.
