Coupler seal for coaxial cable system components
A cable system component includes a housing having a seal-grasping surface portion and a seal having an elastically deformable tubular body attached to the housing. The body has a posterior sealing surface that cooperatively engages the seal-grasping surface portion of the housing and a forward sealing surface configured to cooperatively engage an interface port. The forward sealing surface includes a radially inner facet divided into a forward portion and a rearward portion by an inner annular groove in the inner facet. The seal includes an anterior portion and a posterior portion connected by a thinned neck portion, the forward portion of the radially inner facet is on the anterior portion, and the rearward portion of the radially inner facet is on the posterior portion. The rearward portion of the radially inner facet includes a sealing edge surface that is configured to cooperate with an outer surface of the interface port in order to provide a sealed connection between the connector and the port when the anterior portion is removed from the seal. The inner annular groove is radially aligned with the neck portion and is configured to keep the neck portion away from the sealing edge of the rearward portion of the radially inner facet when the anterior portion is removed from the seal.
Connector and connector manufacturing method
A connector to connect electric circuits inside and outside the tire includes: a tubular terminal penetrating the connector attachment hole; an outer seal member surrounding outside the tubular terminal and elastically deformed by being pressed against a tire wheel to provide a seal between the tire wheel and the tubular terminal; an inner seal member filled inside the tubular terminal; one or more rod-shaped terminals penetrating the inner seal member; a plurality of communication holes formed at a plurality of positions in a circumferential direction in an intermediate portion in an axial direction of the tubular terminal; and a plurality of seal communication portions integrally formed with one or both of the outer seal member and the inner seal member and arranged in the plurality of communication holes to transmit, to the inner seal member, elastic force toward the tubular terminal by the elastic deformation of the outer seal member.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND WATERPROOF MEMBER THEREOF
An electronic device and a waterproof member of the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a device body, a cable, and a waterproof member. The device body includes a socket. The cable includes a plug unit and a cable body. The plug unit is disposed at one end of the cable body and is adapted to be connected to the socket. The waterproof member is sleeved over at least a portion of the plug unit and includes an elastic material.
Sealing connector
A connector is provided with a rear seal portion to be arranged to face a rear surface of a housing, and a rear wall portion to be arranged to face a rear surface of the rear seal portion. The housing includes a lock piece projecting rearward from the rear surface and the lock piece includes a lock portion on a tip side. The rear seal portion includes a lock-side seal hole to be held in close contact with a base end side of the lock piece and a sealing surface to be held in close contact with a mating housing on an outer peripheral side. The rear wall portion includes a lock receiving portion to be locked by the lock portion on an inner surface of a through hole. Out of an outer part and an inner part, the lock receiving portion is provided on the inner part.
CONNECTOR AND WIRING HARNESS WITH CONNECTOR
It is aimed to provide a connector which can be thinned. A connector is connected to a mating connector in a height direction and includes a wire insertion portion open in a direction orthogonal to the height direction, a wire member being partially inserted into the wire insertion portion, a connector opening open in the height direction, a terminal member of the mating connector being insertable into the connector opening to be electrically connectable to the wire member, and a connector fitting portion to be fit to the mating connector. A range H2 in the height direction of a connector sealing member for sealing between the connector fitting portion and the mating connector is set to at least partially overlap within a range H1 in the height direction of a wire sealing member for sealing between the wire member and the wire insertion portion.
Coaxial cable connector having an activatable seal
A connector includes a cavity for stowing a pre-installed sealing member. The cavity is defined by a first or coupler seal cavity formed on the inside surface of a coupler and a second or insert seal cavity formed on the outer periphery of an insert. Relative motion of the coupler and the insert during assembly causes the sealing member to be displaced from a stowed or inactive seal position to an assembled or active seal position.
Seal For An Angled Connector
A seal for an angled connector includes a rim wall enclosing a central opening and a sealing passage extending from outside the seal through the rim wall into the central opening. The seal has a planar plate-shaped configuration.
Cable bushing
A cable bushing is disclosed for placement into a control housing surrounding a printed circuit board. The cable bushing includes a bushing housing comprising a locating surface, fastening means for fastening the bushing housing to the control housing, and retainers for at least two cables which are to be electrically connected to the printed circuit board. To facilitate the assembly of the cable bushing, the cable bushing housing is provided with contact elements that protrude from its front face, that are embodied to be adapted for plug contacting the printed circuit board, and that are electrically connected to the associated cables within the bushing housing. Also disclosed is the combination of a control housing and cable bushing and a printed circuit board housed in the control housing.
