A connector housing for an electrical connector includes a housing part and a shielding element disposed on the housing part. The shielding element has a contact spring contacting a shielding part of a mating connector housing. The contact spring is bent and pressed against the shielding part during a plugging operation between the connector housing and the mating connector housing.

Mating assistance device for electrical connectors

A mating assistance device comprises a housing having an opening receiving an electrical connector in a direction of insertion and a locking device movable between an unlocked position and a locked position with respect to the housing. The locking device has a connector pushing element displaceable in the direction of insertion when the locking device moves from the unlocked position to the locked position.

A housing (10) is formed with a partial locking stopper (21) and a full locking stopper (24). A slide lever (25) (operating member) is formed with a single hook (33) having a partial locking contact surface (35) and a full locking contact surface (36). The partial locking contact surface (35) is at an acute angle to a sliding direction of the slide lever (25) and restricts a movement of the slide lever (25) at the partial locking position in a direction separating from the housing (10) by contacting the partial locking stopper (21). The full locking contact surface (36) is at an obtuse angle to the sliding direction of the slide lever (25) and restricts a movement of the slide lever (25) at the full locking position toward the partial locking position by contacting the full locking stopper (24) in a semi-locked state.

PLUGGABLE OPTICAL TRANSCEIVER MODULE

A pluggable optical transceiver module for inserting into a socket slot includes a body, a moving member and at least one elastic member. The body includes a head portion, an inserting portion to the slot, two sides, two sliding slots and at least one first limiting slot. The two sliding slots are respectively disposed on two sides. The first limiting slot is disposed in one of the sliding slots. The moving member includes a connecting arm and two extending arms and is detachably disposed on the body. Each extending arm includes a second fastening portion, a first limiting portion, and an elastic member insertion hole. When the moving member is disposed on the body, the two extending arms respectively move in the two sliding slots, and the first limiting portion moves in the first limiting slot. The elastic member is in the first limiting slot via the insertion hole.

COUPLING CONNECTOR COMPRISING A SLIDER PART
20200153159 · 2020-05-14 ·

A connector system with a primary connector and a coupling connector, and a method for connecting a coupling connector and a primary connector. The system provides an insertion aid for mating the connectors. The connector system has a primary connector with a connecting part and a coupling connector with a base unit and a connecting part. The coupling connector has a slider part that moves relative to the base unit to either a preliminary position or a final position. The connecting part of the coupling connector mates with the connecting part of the primary connector. The slider part and the primary connector each have at least one guiding component which both interact to enforce a predefined motion path of the slider part relative to the primary connector when the coupling connector is coupled with the primary connector and the slider part is moved from the preliminary position to the final position.

Connector assembly with a slider

A connector assembly comprises a first connector and a second connector matable with the first connector in a mating direction. The first connector includes a housing and a slider held by the housing and slidable with respect to the housing in a direction intersecting the mating direction. The slider has a slider backlash restraining device disposed on an inner wall. The slider slides in a first direction to cause the second connector to move in the mating direction and slides in a second direction opposite to the first direction to cause the second connector to move in a direction opposite to the mating direction. The second connector has a connector backlash restraining device disposed on an outer wall of the second connector. The slider backlash restraining device abuts the connector backlash restraining device when the first connector is mated with the second connector.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector comprises a housing configured to be mated with a mating connector along a mating direction, a shell made of a metal material and enclosing the housing, and a slide cam made of a metal material and slidable with respect to the housing and the shell in a sliding direction perpendicular to the mating direction. The slide cam has a cam portion guiding the mating connector along the mating direction, a first elastic portion configured to be pressed against a metal region of the mating connector, and a second elastic portion integrally formed in a single piece with the cam portion and the first elastic portion and configured to be pressed against a predetermined region of the shell.

CONNECTOR

A connector electrically connecting a module substrate and a main substrate includes: a housing mounted on the main substrate; contacts held on the housing and including contact parts and connection parts connected to the main substrate; a frame including side board parts sandwiching a flat board part and the main substrate, the side board parts forming one of a cam groove and a projection; and a slider having opposite side portions forming the other of the cam groove and the projection, forming an insertion space between the slider and the housing upon the projection's insertion into the cam groove and the slider's attachment to the frame, pressing the module substrate against the contact parts upon the slider sliding in the module substrate's insertion direction, sandwiching main substrate, the housing and the module substrate between the slider and the flat board part.

A track system may include a track assembly and a support assembly. A track assembly may include a toothed portion. The support assembly may include a support member removable from and adjustably connected to the track assembly. The toothed portion may include a plurality of track teeth. The support member may include an adjuster pinion. The adjuster pinion may include a plurality of pinion teeth configured to engage the plurality of track teeth. The adjuster pinion may be adjustable to an engaged position in which the adjuster pinion and the toothed portion are engaged with one another. An electrical plug connection includes a plug including a housing with a plurality of electrical plug contacts and including an operating element moveably fastened on the housing and including a sliding track that includes first and second sections oriented such that plugging the plug into the plug module or detaching the plug from the plug module is carried out by two movements of the operating element that are in two opposite movement directions; and a plug module with a plurality of complementary plug contacts that electrically contact the electrical plug contacts in a plugged-in position and attached to a pin that is guided in the track. During a movement of the operating element relative to the housing, a force is transmittable from the sliding track to the pin so that the plug and plug module move toward each other or move away from each other.
