CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A DEVICE FOR DUAL POSITION CONFIRMATION
A connector assembly has a device for dual position confirmation and is able to not only accurately show whether female and male connectors have been completely fastened to each other at an appropriate position by a lever using the device for dual position confirmation, but to show the fastened state and position of the lever.
Electrical Plug Device With A Blocking Mechanism For A Position Assurance Element Which Can Be Released By A Mating Housing
An electrical plug device includes a connector housing pluggable with a mating housing, a connection aid engageable with the mating housing, a position assurance element held at the connector housing and displaceable from an open position to a securing position, and a blocking mechanism. The connection aid is movable from a plugging position to a holding position. The connector housing in the plugging position is connectable to the mating housing. The mating housing in the holding position is held at the connector housing. The connection aid in the open position is movable from the plugging position to the holding position and in the securing position is fixated in the holding position. The blocking mechanism blocks the position assurance element in the open position and has a release element with which the blocking mechanism is released in a state of the connector housing and the mating housing being plugged together.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a terminal fitting, an insulating housing having a terminal accommodation chamber in which the terminal fitting is accommodated, and attached to a casing of an installation target device, and an insulating heat dissipation member that takes heat from the terminal fitting and dissipates the heat are included, and the heat dissipation member includes a heat absorbing portion that comes into contact with the terminal fitting in the terminal accommodation chamber and takes heat from the terminal fitting, and a heat transfer portion that transfers the heat taken by the heat absorbing portion to a heat transfer target portion outside the terminal accommodation chamber.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector assembly enables electrically safe disconnection and separation because it is possible to secure an interval between the point of time of separation of interlock terminals and the point of time of separation of power terminals when connectors are separated. The connector assembly can implement two steps of cutting power after restricting a lever in a locked state and then completely disconnecting connectors by additionally operating the lever by including an intermediate locking mechanism that restricts the lever for disconnecting connectors in a state in which interlock terminals of two connectors are separated from each other but power terminals of the two connectors are in contact with each other to disconnect and separate female and male connectors.
MALE CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR
A male connector 11 provided with a plurality of male terminals 16 to be connected to a plurality of female terminals 14 provided in a female connector 12 includes a receptacle 23 into which the female connector 12 is fit, and a movable member 38 disposed in the receptacle 23 and including an engaging portion 42 to be engaged with the female connector 12. The movable member 38 includes a releasing member 47 for releasing a short circuit by contacting a shorting terminal 28 provided for the plurality of male terminals 16 or the plurality of female terminals 14 to short-circuit the plurality of male terminals 16 or the plurality of female terminals 14.
Locking clip for an electrical connector housing
An electrical connector housing is provided with at least one locking clip, which is mounted pivotably via a bearing pin and has a locking region and an actuation region. In order to reversibly lock the electrical connector housing to a mating electrical connector housing, the locking region engages overbearing journals integrally moulded on the mating electrical connector housing. The locking clip has a locking device or means for blocking the pivot movement of the locking clip. In this manner, an accidental release of the plug-in connection can be prevented.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector assembly has a moving plate for protecting a terminal, which may easily separate the moving plate from a male plate for a rework operation for realigning a terminal pin without damage and may decrease a force when a female connector is inserted into and fastened to the male connector to push the moving plate. This improves the quality by reducing the difficulty when the female connector is inserted into and fastened to the male connector and improves a locking projection structure of the female connector such that the moving plate may easily return to the original location at all times when the female connector is separated.
Connector
A moving plate moves from a protection position for protecting a tip part of a male tab to a connection position in a receptacle according to a connecting operation of a female housing. A male housing includes a male housing lock, and the female housing includes a female housing lock. The moving plate includes a plate male lock for locking the male housing lock at the protection position to restrict a movement to the connection position, and a plate female lock for locking the female housing-side locking portion to restrict separation of the female housing when locking of the male housing lock and the plate male lock is maintained.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE DEVICE WITH HIGH VOLTAGE CONNECTOR
A battery maintenance system for use in performing battery maintenance on a battery of an electric vehicle including a battery maintenance device and a high voltage connector configured to connect the battery maintenance device to the battery of the electric vehicle. When a fuse door is removed from a fuse block of the connector, a mechanical component in a first position blocks a keying post and prevents a first connector side from coupling with a second connector side of the connector When the fuse door is in place and covering an interior of the fuse block, the fuse door places the mechanical component into a second position to allow the keying post to mate with the second connector side and to activate an electric switch to connect voltages to the fuse block.
Bi-Directional Header For Multi-Direction Connector Mating
An electrical header for use in an electrical connector assembly includes a body for mounting to an object and having an opening formed therethrough for receiving an electrical terminal. The body further defines a plug on a first side thereof for engaging with a mating electrical connector of the assembly. The plug includes a pair of first opposing sidewalls extending from the body a first height and defining a locking feature for engaging with a corresponding locking feature of the mating connector, and a pair of second opposing sidewalls extending from the body at a second height, less than the first height. The first and second pairs of opposing sidewalls are adapted to mate with a first mating connector oriented in a first direction with respect to the header, and mate with a second mating connector oriented in a second direction with respect to the header and distinct from the first direction.
