A plug includes: a housing with a plurality of electrical plug contacts that electrically contact complementary plug contacts of a plugging module in a completely plugged-on position; and a slider movably attached to the housing, including first and second gear rack segments, and configured to engage with the plugging module such that, in response to a movement of the slider relative to the housing, a force is transmitted by the slider to the plugging module by which the plug and plugging module move towards each other or away from each other. A lever is rotationally mounted to the housing so that, responsive to a movement of the lever in one direction, the gear meshes with the first gear rack segment moving the slider in a first movement direction, and subsequently meshes with the second gear rack segment moving the slider in a second opposite movement direction.

Connector mateable with and removeable from a mating connector by rotation of a lever

A connector comprising a housing and a lever. The connector is mateable with and removable from a mating connector along a first direction by operation of the lever. The housing has an inner portion, an outer portion, at least one coupling portion, a pivot, a first portion and a second portion. The housing has a lever accommodating portion between the outer portion and the inner portion in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The lever accommodating portion partially accommodates the lever. The pivot is positioned inside the lever accommodating portion. The pivot supports the lever so that the lever is rotatable. The at least one coupling portion has a bridge portion which is elastically deformable. The bridge portion is sandwiched between the first portion and the second portion in a plane perpendicular to the second direction.

A connector comprises a first housing, a cam member, and an operation lever. The first housing has a mating portion configured to mate with a second housing of a second connector. The cam member has a cam groove configured to mate with a cam pin provided on the second housing. The cam member causes the second housing to mate with the first housing by sliding in a lateral direction intersecting with a direction of mating to draw the cam pin into the cam groove. The operation lever slides the cam member according to a turning operation. A nipping portion of the connector nips the cam pin in the cam groove when the cam member slides up to a mating completion position at which mating of the second housing with the first housing is completed.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ARRANGEMENT WITH MATE-ASSIST SLIDER

An electrical connector arrangement includes a connector housing and a mate-assist lever. The mate-assist lever is rotatable about a pivot point and is configured to facilitate, upon rotation, mating and unmating with a corresponding electrical counter-connector. The pivot point is configured to move relative to the connector housing upon rotation of the mate-assist lever.

Electrical connector having telescopic structure

An electrical connector comprises a contact-carrying body having a plurality of electrical terminals, a slide member slidably mounted within the contact-carrying body and having a rack, an upper body mounted to the contact-carrying body, and a lever pivotally mounted on the upper body. The lever has a toothed wheel engaging the rack; movement of the lever between an inoperative position and an operative position moves the slide member between a retracted position and an advanced position. The lever has arms and a handle. Each arm of the lever has a telescoping structure including a first arm portion and a second arm portion slidably mounted to the first arm portion and connected to the handle. A movable portion including the second arm portion of each arm and the handle is movable with respect to each of the first arm portions between an elongated lever position and a shortened lever position.

CONNECTOR STRUCTURE FOR SECURE INSTALLATION

The present disclosure provides a connector structure (10) for secure installation, which is installed on a fixed plate (100) having a through hole (101). The connector structure (10) includes a connector housing (1), two elastic clamping arms (2), and two operable levers (3). The connector housing (1) is inserted through the through hole (101). The two elastic clamping arms (2) are extended from the connector housing (1) and arranged on two opposite sides of the connector housing (1). The two operable levers (3) are pivotally connected to the connector housing (1) and sandwiched between the connector housing (1) and the two elastic clamping arms (2). The two operable levers (3) include two inclined surfaces (31), which gradually increase in thickness (h), in a direction away from the through hole (101).

MULTI-COUPLINGS PLATE AND ENSEMBLE OF PLATES COMPRISING SUCH A MULTI-COUPLINGS PLATE

This multi-couplings plate (P1) includes a locking device comprising a frame (14) fixed on the plate (P1), locking members and a drive mechanism, comprising a rotary element (18) rotatable in the frame (14), a sliding element translatable relative to the frame (14) and which cooperates with the locking members. The locking device also comprises several ratchet notches (301-309) secured to an element (18) of the drive mechanism (16) and juxtaposed in the movement direction relative to the frame (14) of the element (18) of the drive mechanism, the ratchet notches (301-309) comprising a final notch (309) and at least one intermediate notch (303-308), and a pawl movable in a housing (326) of the frame (14) and pushed back by a spring (28) toward one of the ratchet notches (301-309). When the pawl cooperates with the intermediate notch (303-308), the pawl limits the movement of the sliding element toward its forward position to a position midway between the forward position and the withdrawn position, and in the coupled configuration, the pawl cooperates with the final notch (309) and keeps the sliding element in the withdrawn position.

Lever release for lever mated connector assembly

An electrical connector assembly having a first housing, a second housing and a lever member. The first housing includes lever retention arms with holding projections. The second housing is matable with the first housing and has latch release projections and mating posts. The lever member is rotatably attached to the first housing to rotate from a first position to a second position. The lever member includes securing members and post engaging members. The securing members are configured to cooperate with the holding projections of the lever retention arms when the first housing is in the initial position to retain the lever member in the first position. The latch release projections are configured to release the holding projections of the lever retention arms from the securing members as the first housing is moved toward the final position, allowing the lever member to rotate to its second position.
