An electrical connector includes a connector housing configured to receive a corresponding mating connector, a cable guide cover attached to the connector housing, and a mate assist system for assisting in mating to the corresponding mating connector. The mate assist system includes a lever moveable to assembly, open, and closed positions. The lever includes gear means connected with a slider in the connector housing. The lever moves the slider to a first, second, and third position. The lever is releasable and attachable to the connector housing only in the assembly position. The cable guide cover is attachable to the connector housing only when the lever is in the closed position. The slider has a releasing means cooperating with a releasing means of the corresponding mating connector to unblock the slider while mating and enabling movement of the lever to the closed position, thereby moving the slider to the third position.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH ASSIST LEVER

An electrical connector includes a first housing. A second housing is movable relative to the first housing. The electrical connector includes a lever that is mounted on the first housing for relative rotational movement between a pre-stage position and a final position. The lever engages the second housing to move the second housing linearly between a pre-stage position and a seated position relative to the first housing. The electrical connector includes a lock that retains the lever in the final position relative to the first housing. The electrical connector also includes a connector position assurance. The connector position assurance is mounted on the first housing for relative movement between an initial position and an assurance position. When the lever is in the final position and the connector position assurance is in the assurance position, the connector position assurance engages the lever and prevents the lever from being moved away from the final position.

A connector comprises an interlock busbar adapted to be inserted into an interlock connector and short-circuit a pair of first conducting wires of a mating connector, a clip busbar adapted to pinch and short-circuit a pair of terminals of the mating connector, a housing, a lever, and a slider supported on the housing and slidable between an unmating position and a mating position. The lever removes the short circuit of the pair of first conducting wires by pulling out the interlock busbar from the interlock connector according to a first-half turning operation. The slider at the mating position blocks a second-half turning operation by interfering with the lever at an end of the first-half turning operation of the lever, and allows the second-half turning operation of the lever after a sliding operation of the slider to the unmating position.

Connector with wire cover

A wire cover (30) can be mounted to a connector body (C) in any one of a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to a wire drawing port (31). A first mark (M1) and a second mark (M2) having different appearance from each other are provided in the wire cover (30). A first identification mark (S1) is provided on one of both side surfaces of the connector body (C) and a second identification mark (S2) is provided on the other side surface. When the wire cover (30) is mounted in the first direction, the first mark (M1) and the first identification mark (S1) are disposed close to each other. When the wire cover (30) is mounted in the second direction, the second mark (M2) and the second identification mark (S2) are close to each other.

Electronic module for an I/O modular system

An electronic module for an I/O modular system comprises a housing, a plug-in connection for the coupling to a connection of the I/O modular system, and at least one locking lever which has an actuating end arranged on the side turned away from the plug-in connection, and a locking portion. The locking lever has at least one light-conducting portion. A light source is associated with the locking lever. A light exit face is provided in the region of the actuating end of the locking lever.

The lever can move between a pre-stage position and a final position. The lever engages the second housing to move the second housing linearly between a pre-stage position and a seated position relative to the first housing. A lock on the first housing retains the lever in the final position relative to the first housing.

CONNECTOR DEVICE

A connector device comprises a connector and a mating connector mateable with each other. The connector comprises a housing, a sub-housing movable relative to the housing and a detection terminal held by the sub-housing. The mating connector comprises a mating housing and a mating detection terminal held by the mating housing. The housing is turnable about a shaft thereof relative to the mating housing. The sub-housing has a guided portion. The mating housing has a guide portion. While the housing is turned relative to the mating housing, the guide portion guides the guided portion to move the sub-housing relative to the housing. As a result, the detection terminal is moved downward along an upper-lower direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the shaft to be connected to the mating detection terminal.

Electronics module extraction feedback system

An assembly for attaching and detaching an electronics module from a base includes a feedback assembly that provides an operator with tactile feedback on the relative positioning of the module with the base during attachment or detachment of the module to or from the base. The feedback assembly includes cams on the electronics module and a follower attached to an end of a spring arm on the base. The spring arm forms a portion of a wall that guides movement of the module along the base during attachment or detachment of the module.

Electrical connector with terminal position assurance

An electrical connector includes a first housing with a plurality of first terminal slots. Each first terminal slot includes a first terminal lock. Each first terminal slot also includes a first end stop. The first end stops are part of the first housing. Each first terminal slot is configured to retain a first electrical terminal between the first terminal lock and the first end stop. The electrical connector also includes a first terminal position assurance. The first terminal position assurance includes a first terminal position assurance body. A plurality of first lock retainers extend from the first terminal position assurance body. The first lock retainers prevent the first terminal locks from moving to a release position. The first terminal position assurance body is located in the same plane as the first end stops.
