20220360004 · 2022-11-10 ·

A pluggable network interface device is provided comprising a split-shell housing having a shielded side portion that protects a side of a circuit substrate disposed in the split-shell housing. The split-shell housing comprises a first shell portion that covers a first side of the circuit substrate and a second shell portion that covers a second side of the circuit substrate that is arranged opposite the first side. The shielded side portion is inset from a width of the split-shell housing and offset a distance from an electrical interconnection end of the circuit substrate. The shielded side portion is arranged at least partially in a notch of the circuit substrate disposed at the electrical interconnection end of the circuit substrate.

CABLE CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A cable connector and a connector assembly including the cable connector are provided. The cable connector includes a plastic main body, a contact body and a cable. A cavity is formed in the plastic main body. The contact body is fixed on the plastic main body and extends into the cavity. The cable is fixed on the plastic main body. One end of the cable is inserted into the plastic main body and is electrically connected to the contact body in the cavity, and an electrically connected portion is exposed in the cavity. The electrically connected portion between the cable and the contact body is exposed in the cavity, so that a clearance is formed at the welding spots between the cable and the contact body and is not injection-moulded by the internal mould, which reduces the attenuation of the cable and greatly improves the signal integrity of the product.

Optical fiber connectors and methods of connecting optical fibers

A connector for optically connecting an optical fiber to an optical fiber port, the connector defining a first length, L.sub.1, as measured between a leading edge and a trailing edge of the connector when the connector is in a locked configuration, and a second length, L.sub.2, as measured between the leading edge and the trailing edge of the connector when the connector is in an unlocked configuration, wherein L.sub.1 is different than L.sub.2. In an embodiment, L.sub.2 is greater than L.sub.1. In another embodiment, the connector comprises a boot and a housing, and the boot and housing are configured to float relative to one another.

Pass-through plug

The present application provides a pass-through plug, including: a first housing, comprising a plurality of sockets; a second housing, configured to be connected with the first housing; and a tamper resistant assembly, trapped between the first housing and the second housing and configured to selectively block the plurality of sockets when the plurality of sockets are not simultaneously operated. The provided pass-through plug can reduce the potential risk of people accidentally inserting conductive objects into the socket holes.

BOARD END CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A board end connector and a connector assembly are provided. The board end connector comprises a board end connector body and a board end housing. The board end housing comprises a board end accommodating part and a buckling slot. Wherein the board end accommodating part accommodates the board end connector body. An end surface of the board end accommodating part in the first direction comprises a board end opening. The buckling slot is disposed at one side of the board end accommodating part. A buckling bump is provided in the buckling slot. A sidewall of the buckling bump in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and away from the board end accommodating part comprises a board end buckling part. The board end buckling part comprises a retaining opening and a buckling elastic piece.

OPTICAL TRANSCEIVING DEVICE AND RELEASE MECHANISM THEREOF

An optical transceiving device includes a housing including opposite lateral surfaces, a fastening component movably disposed on the housing, and a bail assembly including a carrier, a handle and a securing structure. The fastening component includes a linkage arm and two extending arms connected with the linkage arm. The two extending arms configured to be detachably fastened with a cage. The carrier is fixed to the fastening component. The carrier and the linkage arm jointly define an accommodation space having an opening. The handle is disposed on the carrier and movable along a release direction to be at either a close position or an open position. The handle is held in the accommodation space by the securing structure when at the close position. The handle protrudes from the opening when at the open position, and brings the fastening component to move together.

Plug connector and connector assembly

The present disclosure discloses a plug connector including an insulating housing, a number of plug terminals and a cable. The insulating housing includes a width direction extending along a left-and-right direction. The plug terminals are retained by the insulating housing and arranged in two rows in the width direction of the insulative housing. The plug terminals of each row are arranged in an upper-and-lower direction and spaced away from each other in the upper-and-lower direction. Each plug terminal extends along a front-and-back direction. The cable includes a number of core wires correspondingly and electrically connected with the plug terminals. A connector assembly including the plug connector and the mated socket connector is also disclosed in the present disclosure.

Plug Connector and Connector Assembly

A plug connector includes a plug housing having a plurality of side walls forming a cavity, a spacer having a plate shape and dividing the cavity into a pair of halves, a plurality of conductive terminals disposed on opposite sides of the spacer, a connector engagement component, and a pull tab. The connector engagement component has a first engagement portion releasably engaging a second engagement portion of a socket connector and a fixing portion detachably secured to the side walls of the plug housing. The pull tab is movable between the plug housing and the connector engagement component in a direction towards or away from a cable connected to the conductive terminals. Pulling of the pull tab in a pulling direction towards the cable enables release of an engagement between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion, separating the plug connector from the socket connector.
