Connector for connecting together underwater cables and in particular umbilical cables for renewable marine energy farms

A connector for connecting underwater cables includes: a connection housing in which the cables enter parallel to each other and parallel to a first direction; and a handling bar, connected to the connection housing by a linking unit hinged along an axis perpendicular to the first direction.

DETECTING MULTIPLE OPERATOR PATTERN SERVICES MAKING CONFLICTING RESOURCE MODIFICATIONS
20230176297 · 2023-06-08 ·

Systems and methods for detecting multiple operator pattern services making conflicting resource modifications. An example method comprises receiving from a first computing process running on a computing platform, a resource modification request to modify a resource of the computing platform. The method then determines, using a resource modification data store, whether a second computing process is regulating the resource associated with the resource modification request. Responsive to determining that the second computing process is regulating the resource associated with the resource modification request, the method notifies a managing process of the computing platform.

A circuit board module includes a circuit board body, a connector, a press button, a bracket, and a linkage. The connector includes a base and a rotating button rotatably disposed on the base. The press button is located away from the connector. The bracket includes a first limiting portion. The linkage is located between the rotating button and the press button and includes a second limiting portion corresponding to the first limiting portion, a first segment, and a second segment linked to the first segment. The first segment extends along a first axis and is linked to the rotating button. The second segment extends along a second axis and is linked to the press button. One of the second limiting portion and the first limiting portion extends along the first axis. The first segment is movably disposed on the bracket along the first axis.

UNLOCKING ELEMENT AND ELECTRICAL PLUG-IN PROVIDED THEREWITH
20230178936 · 2023-06-08 · ·

An unlocking element (17) for electrical plug-in connections, for acting on an elastically deflectable or displacable locking arm (16) of a locking arrangement (16, 17). The unlocking element (17) has at least one actuating tab (21), configured to be touched by a user and is coated with or produced from electrically insulating plastic. The center point (Z) of the actuating tab (21) and a longitudinal center axis (L) of the connecting portion (18) of the unlocking element (17) are offset with respect to one another radially in relation to this longitudinal center axis (L). An electrical plug-in connector for producing an electrical plug-in connection with a complementary plug-in connector is provided with a locking arrangement (16, 17) for the complementary plug-in connector, with the unlocking element (17).

Electrical connector latching mechanism

A method for latching an electrical connector includes aligning a connector with an inlet. A first surface of the connector is within a first distance of a second surface of the inlet. A puller arm of the connector is extended into the inlet to a second distance from the second surface of the inlet. The puller arm includes a gripping element configured to apply a first compressive force against the inlet. The puller arm is retracted relative to the connector while applying the first compressive force against the inlet. The puller arm remains in the inlet at the second distance, thereby inserting a first electrode of the connector into the inlet to connect the first electrode with a second electrode of the inlet. The first electrode transfers power to the second electrode from a high-power supply.

CONNECTOR DEVICE

A connector device comprises a connector and a mating connector. The connector comprises a housing formed with an axis portion and holding a power terminal and a detection terminal. The mating connector comprises a mating housing formed with a mating axis portion and holding a mating power terminal and a mating detection terminal. When the axis portion and the mating axis portion are combined, the connector is turnable from an opened position to a closed position via a predetermined position. When the connector is located at the opened position, the power terminal and the detection terminal are unconnected to the mating power terminal and the mating detection terminal, respectively. When the connector is turned to the predetermined position, the power terminal is connected to the mating power terminal. When the connector is turned to the closed position, the detection terminal is connected to the mating detection terminal.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

A connector assembly includes a female connector having a pair of female terminals inserted into a housing of which one side is open, and including a male connector having a male terminal inserted between the pair of female terminals to come into contact with the pair of female terminals. one end of a female terminal of the pair of female terminals is fixed to an inner surface of the housing. The other end thereof is disposed to extend by a predetermined length. A displacement of the other end occurs toward the one end due to the configuration of the male connector. A contact defect problem during coupling does not occur and reworking of the connector assembly is facilitated.
