The first electrical circuit component has a first exposed electrical contact that is to contact or not contact a second exposed electrical contact of a second electrical circuit component that is embedded in a housing of the socket depending on whether a corner of a DIMM is or is not properly inserted into the DIMM socket.

An electrical connector system includes a first connector body defining a locking fin, a second connector body configured to receive the first connector body, and a flexible locking arm defined by the second connector body configured to releasably engage the locking fin. A plunger is slidably attached to the second connector body and is moveable from an engaged position in which the plunger holds the locking arm in engagement with the locking fin to a disengaged position in which the plunger disengages the locking arm from the locking fin. A spring is disposed between the plunger and the second connector body and is configured to urge the plunger into the engaged position.

SELF-EJECTING ELECTRICAL CONNECTION SYSTEM

An electrical connector system includes a first connector body defining a locking fin, a second connector body configured to receive the first connector body, and a flexible locking arm defined by the second connector body configured to releasably engage the locking fin. A plunger is slidably attached to the second connector body and is moveable from an engaged position in which the plunger holds the locking arm in engagement with the locking fin to a disengaged position in which the plunger disengages the locking arm from the locking fin. A spring is disposed between the plunger and the second connector body and is configured to urge the plunger into the engaged position.

An opening is formed between the first stop body and the third stop body. The housing includes a second body and pressing parts. When the action parts are pressed by an external force, the action parts will be deformed. Then, a flexible printed circuit board will be unlocked on the first body, and the action parts are stopped by the first stop body and the third stop body to stop continuing to deform. When the action parts are not pressed by the external force, the circuit board is locked on the first body.
