Retractable EMC protection
A system and method for providing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection for a removable component through a retractable EMC protection apparatus. The EMC protection apparatus includes an actuation pin, a stabilizing bracket, an actuation arm, a spring brace, an arm spring, a second stabilizing bracket, a rounded pin, an angled engagement feature, an enclosure opening, a conductive surface, a protection device spring, and a retractable EMC protection device. The actuation pin is configured to engage upon a surface of an end product upon insertion of the removable component into the end product. The activation arm is configured to simultaneously compress the arm spring against the stop brace and to push on the angled engagement feature. The angled engagement feature is configured to push in a downward direction on the conductive surface to seal an enclosure opening of the removable component with the retractable EMC protection device.
CONNECTOR AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A connector (1) according to the present disclosure includes: a first connector (10) including a pair of first contacts (30a) each of which includes a first contacting portion (34a) and that are attached to a first insulator (20); a second connector (50) including a pair of second contacts (70a) each of which includes a second contacting portion (74a) and that are attached to a second insulator (60), the second contacting portion (74a) being in contact with the first contacting portion (34a) in a fitted state; and a shield member that is attached to the first insulator (20) and the second insulator (60). The shield member includes: a first shield portion (45) and a second shield portion (82b) that are respectively disposed inside and outside in a first direction, which is perpendicular to a fitting direction, with respect to the first contacting portion (34a) and the second contacting portion (74a) that are in contact with each other in the fitted state; and a third shield portion (83b) that is disposed on a circuit board (CB2) side in the fitting direction.
CONNECTOR AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A connector (1) according to the present disclosure includes: a first connector (10) including a pair of first contacts (30a) each of which includes a first contacting portion (34a) and that are attached to a first insulator (20); a second connector (50) including a pair of second contacts (70a) each of which includes a second contacting portion (74a) and that are attached to a second insulator (60), the second contacting portion (74a) being in contact with the first contacting portion (34a) in a fitted state; and a shield member that is attached to the first insulator (20) and the second insulator (60). The shield member includes: a first shield portion (45) and a second shield portion (82b) that are respectively disposed inside and outside in a first direction, which is perpendicular to a fitting direction, with respect to the first contacting portion (34a) and the second contacting portion (74a) that are in contact with each other in the fitted state; and a third shield portion (83b) that is disposed on a circuit board (CB2) side in the fitting direction.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH STOP FUNCTION
An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a number of first conductive terminals and a metal shell. The insulating body includes a first butting protrusion having a first slot. The metal shell is assembled to the insulating body along an assembling direction. The metal shell includes a top wall, a bottom wall, two side walls and a partition wall. The metal shell includes a first receiving cavity for receiving a first mating plug. The metal shell further includes an installation opening extending downwardly to receive the insulating body. The electrical connector includes a first stop portion provided on the first mating protrusion and adapted for stopping further insertion of the first mating plug.
PLUG CONNECTOR, RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH POWER SUPPLY FUNCTION
A plug connector includes a tongue plate, a metal shell and a plug power terminal. At least one side of the tongue plate is provided with a number of conductive pads arranged at intervals along a transverse direction. The metal shell includes a receiving space for receiving the tongue plate. The plug power terminal is located on at least one side of the conductive pads in the transverse direction. The present disclosure also discloses a receptacle connector matched with the plug connector. The receptacle connector includes a receptacle power terminal. The present disclosure also discloses a connector assembly having the plug connector and the receptacle connector. Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure enables the plug connector, the receptacle connector and the connector assembly to have a power supply function by providing the plug power terminal and the receptacle power terminal.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector, comprising a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, and a partitioning member. The plurality of first terminals comprise at least one pair of first differential signal terminals and at least one first ground terminal. The plurality of second terminals comprise at least a pair of second differential signal terminals. The partitioning member is disposed between the first terminals and the second terminals. The partitioning member is grounded and comprises a partitioning member body and at least one first bump. The first bump is disposed at the partitioning member body. The partitioning member body is at least disposed between the pair of first differential signal terminals and the pair of second differential signal terminals to shield the pair of first differential signal terminals and the pair of second differential signal terminals. The first bump is electrically connected with the at least one first ground terminal.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector, comprising a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, and a partitioning member. The plurality of first terminals comprise at least one pair of first differential signal terminals and at least one first ground terminal. The plurality of second terminals comprise at least a pair of second differential signal terminals. The partitioning member is disposed between the first terminals and the second terminals. The partitioning member is grounded and comprises a partitioning member body and at least one first bump. The first bump is disposed at the partitioning member body. The partitioning member body is at least disposed between the pair of first differential signal terminals and the pair of second differential signal terminals to shield the pair of first differential signal terminals and the pair of second differential signal terminals. The first bump is electrically connected with the at least one first ground terminal.
SHIELDED CONNECTOR
A shielded connector includes a housing having a front opening portion and an electric wire insertion portion, a terminal to be accommodated in a terminal accommodating portion of the housing and to be connected to a mating terminal, a connection terminal to be connected to an electric wire, a first shielding shell to cover a rear surface of the housing, a second shielding shell having a braid connection portion and a shell fixing portion to be connected to the first shielding shell, a first fastening member to fasten the housing to the first shielding shell, a second fastening member to fasten the connection terminal to the terminal, and a third fastening member to fasten the shell fixing portion to the first shielding shell. The first, second and third fastening members have fastening directions parallel to each other, and are fastened from a front surface side of the housing.
SHIELDED CONNECTOR
A shielded connector includes a housing having a front opening portion and an electric wire insertion portion, a terminal to be accommodated in a terminal accommodating portion of the housing and to be connected to a mating terminal, a connection terminal to be connected to an electric wire, a first shielding shell to cover a rear surface of the housing, a second shielding shell having a braid connection portion and a shell fixing portion to be connected to the first shielding shell, a first fastening member to fasten the housing to the first shielding shell, a second fastening member to fasten the connection terminal to the terminal, and a third fastening member to fasten the shell fixing portion to the first shielding shell. The first, second and third fastening members have fastening directions parallel to each other, and are fastened from a front surface side of the housing.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector assembly is provided and includes a shielding cage, a receptacle connector and a light guiding member. The shielding cage has a plurality of walls, a receiving space defined together by the plurality of walls, a front end opening communicated to the receiving space and an aperture communicated to the receiving space. The receptacle connector is received in a rear segment of the receiving space of the shielding cage. The light guiding member has at least two light guiding pipes, each light guiding pipe has a first segment positioned to the front and a second segment positioned to the rear. The first segments of the two light guiding pipes are positioned outside the shielding cage and the second segments of the two light guiding pipes pass through the aperture and enter into the rear segment of the receiving space of the shielding cage.
