Aspects herein are directed to an electrical system enclosure. The electrical system enclosure can include an electrical housing unit that includes one or more electrical components. The electrical system enclosure can further include a receptacle coupled to an outside surface associated with the electrical housing unit. The receptacle may be configured to engage a connector component of a cable. The electrical system enclosure can further include a contactor within the electrical housing unit. The contactor may be configured to energize based at least in part on the receptacle engaging the connector component. The electrical system enclosure may include an energy supply component configured to cause energy to be transmitted through the receptacle and the cable to a device outside of the electrical housing unit based on the contactor energizing.

High voltage direct current connector assembly or adapter with arc protection

In one embodiment, an electrical receptacle includes a housing, stationary electrical contacts for transferring power received at the electrical receptacle to a connected device, pin contacts for mating with socket contacts on a plug to create a first connection when the plug is moved along a longitudinal axis of the housing, and internal contacts extending from the pin contacts and located within the housing for mating with the stationary electrical contacts to create a second connection with movement of the plug different from movement for the first connection. An electrical arc created between one of the internal contacts and one of the stationary electrical contacts is contained within the housing. A method and adapter are also disclosed herein.

Connector system, connector, and connection method

A connector system is provided with a first connector including a first transmission line, and a second connector including a second transmission line. The second connector includes a processing unit configured to perform an information transmission process of creating information regarding verification, and transmitting the information to the first connector. The first connector includes: a switch configured to, in a state where the first connector and the second connector are connected to each other, select whether or not to electrically connect the first transmission line and the second transmission line to each other; a verification unit configured to perform a verification process of verifying the second connector, based on the information received from the second connector; and a control unit configured to control the switch, based on a result of the verification process.

An implantable blood pump system is disclosed herein. The implantable blood pump system includes an implantable blood pump and a controller coupled to the blood pump. The controller includes a partially sealed housing defining an internal volume. The controller includes an energy storage component contained within the internal volume and a processor. The processor can generate one or several signals affecting operation of the implantable blood pump. The controller includes a connector receptacle including a plurality of contacts selectively coupled via a circuitry to the energy storage component. The circuitry can electrically couple the plurality of contacts to the energy storage component when a connector insert is received within the connector receptacle and deactivate the plurality of contacts from the energy storage component when the connector insert is not within the connector receptacle.

Electrical feedthrough system and methods of use thereof

An electrical feedthrough assembly has a lower assembly having a first end and a second end. The lower assembly includes an outer body with a lower housing and an upper housing disposed within a bore of the outer body and a first conductor extending from the lower housing to the upper housing. Additionally, the lower housing extends axial outward from the outer body to form the first end and the upper housing extends axial outward from the outer body to form the second end. Further, the electrical feedthrough assembly has an upper assembly having body extending from a first end to a second end. The second body includes a pin end at the first end inserted into an opening of the second end of the lower assembly. A second conductor is disposed within the body. A piston is disposed within the body configured to move the second conductor.

The present disclosure provides a safety socket, in which: the electrical connecting component includes a fixed terminal, a plughole component including three static contact pieces and a movable contact piece enclosing a plughole, an elastic component forcing the movable contact piece to deviate to the inner side of the plughole, and a connecting terminal for dynamically electrically connecting the plughole component and the fixed terminal; the bottom of the plughole component is provided with a liftable pressing rod, and when the pressing rod is pressed down, the connecting terminal and the fixed terminal can be forced to contact and conduct through a lever component.
