MODULAR ELECTRICAL WIRING DEVICE SYSTEM
The present invention is directed to an electrical wiring system having a frame assembly that includes a frame opening at a central portion thereof. The frame opening provides access to the interior of the device wall box. At least one electrical wiring device is configured to snap into the frame opening such that the interior of the device wall box is completely enclosed by the frame assembly and the at least one electrical wiring device such that access to wiring disposed within the device wall box is substantially prevented. The at least one electrical wiring device includes at least one user-interface. An aesthetic overlay may be coupled to the frame assembly. The aesthetic overlay includes an overlay opening configured to accommodate the at least one user-interface such that the at least one user-interface is accessible to a user.

A power inlet protection and monitoring device includes a power connection port configured to be on a vehicle and configured to have electrical characteristics when accepting power from an external power source, a monitoring module configured to measure electrical characteristics of the power connection port and configured to determine whether the electrical characteristics of the power connection port are in tolerance, wherein when the monitoring module determines that the electrical characteristics of the power connection port are out of tolerance or a fault may present, the monitoring module triggers one or more alarm conditions, and a power conditioner module that includes a surge protector configured to redirect an over voltage or over amperage.
Electrical medallion
An electrical medallion removably connected to at least a portion of an external surface, the electrical medallion including a main body constructed as a ceiling medallion, a plurality of electrical outlets disposed within at least a portion of the main body to receive an electrical plug therein, and a GFI circuit disposed within at least a portion of the main body to automatically isolate and disable at least one of the plurality of electrical outlets in response to detecting an electric current is unbalanced.
Electric vehicle supply equipment connector to resist electrical arcing and other faults
A connector for electric vehicle supply equipment includes: a housing; a first electrical coupling member supported by the housing and that mates with an inlet of an electric vehicle, the first electrical coupling member including a first pin part; a second electrical coupling member supported by the housing and that mates with the inlet, the second electrical coupling member including a second pin part; and a conductive barrier supported by the housing that extends between the first and second pin parts. The conductive barrier interacts with at least one of the first and second pin parts to provide a conduction path for electrical power monitorable to evaluate electrical isolation of the first and second electrical coupling members and avoid electrical arcing or short-circuiting.
POWER PEDESTAL WITH BREAKAWAY PEDESTAL BASE
A power pedestal for electrical outlets is mountable to a mounting surface by means of a pedestal base incorporating stress-relief means that will allow the pedestal to break away either partially or completely from the base in response to an external force acting on the pedestal so as to induce stresses in the pedestal base exceeding a predetermined magnitude. The pedestal base may have one or more vertical elements to which the pedestal can be connected. Ground attachment points may be provided in one or more of the vertical elements, for protection against loss of pedestal grounding in the event of impact damage to the pedestal. The power pedestal may include protective apparatus comprising an angled hood having an angled top surface and an angled bottom surface having an aperture for mounting an electrical outlet.

POWER PLUG WITH LEAKAGE CURRENT PROTECTION DEVICE
A power plug with leakage current protection device, which includes a body formed of an upper cover and a base, a core assembly disposed in the body, a cable assembly attached to the body, a plurality of input insertion plates and output moving contact arms which are assembled with the core assembly, and an insertion plate sleeve disposed on the base, where the input insertion plates pass through the insertion plate sleeve to protrude from the base. The insertion plate sleeve is made of an insulating and temperature resistant material. The power plug has a simple overall structure and can be assembled easily and reliably. It can prevent the safety risk caused by high temperature of the input insertion plates without increasing the size of the plug. It also has low cost, and can be suitably employed in various types of power plugs.
UNIVERSAL GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER (GFCI) DEVICE AND PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD PACKAGE
A universal ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) device for interrupting the flow of current through a pair of lines extending between a source of power and a load. The GFCI device is easily adaptable to fit into a plurality of enclosure types and includes a top surface having a stationary assembly. The stationary assembly includes a load section a GFCI circuit section, and a power source section, wherein the components of the device are arranged to minimize space, maintain arcing and dielectric prevention distances, and allow for peripheral load and source connections facilitating easy adaptability into a variety of GFCI enclosures.

Multi-Chamber GFCI Housing Apparatus
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention a multi-chamber GFCI housing apparatus is provided. The multi-chamber GFCI housing includes a printed circuit board (PCB) chamber and an isolated cable chamber; each chamber is independently accessible and water resistant. In addition, the relative volumes, of each independent chamber permit sufficient housing volume to allow for sufficient spacing between electrical GFCI components and electrical PCB traces to prevent the risk of arcing between the components while also adhering to constrained dimensions according to electrical codes and standards.
