A connector includes a panel, a first housing assembled to the panel, and a second housing fittable to the first housing. A grommet covers the outer circumference of the second housing and has a lip to be brought into close contact with the panel. A flange is provided movably on the outer circumference of the second housing. The flange is regulated in movement with respect to the second housing with the lip away from the panel. A fitting detection mechanism enables the flange to move toward the panel and enables the lip to come in close contact with the panel, with the first housing and the second housing fitting normally together.

An electrical connector with biased latch and method. The electrical connector has a housing and a latch which extends from the housing. The latch has a latching region and a biasing region. The latching region has a latching projection with a reference surface. The biasing region has a biasing member. The cooperation of the biasing member with a mating electrical connector and the reference surface with the mating electrical connector prevents the unwanted movement of the electrical connector relative to the mating electrical connector.

CARD EDGE CONNECTOR FOR A LIGHTING MODULE

A lamp assembly for a vehicle comprising a housing, a reflector mounted in the housing, a light source, a printed circuit board or PCB mounted on a heatsink of the lamp assembly and coupled to the light source to control operation of the light source. The PCB has a first connector for coupling to a second connector comprising a body having a plurality of resilient or elastic arms that each have a detent for locking the connector to the component and retain electrical contact with the PCB. The wall of the heatsink defines an aperture for receiving the second connector and provides a locking surface that deflects the arms towards the body while engaging and cooperating with the detents to lock the connector to the PCB. The free end of the arms extend beyond the mounting wall and are actuated to unlock the connector from the PCB.

LEVER-TYPE CONNECTOR

A lever-type connector includes: a first housing; a second housing capable of fitted to and removed from the first housing; a lever rotatably supported by the second housing for fitted to and removed the first housing and the second housing by a rotation operation; a support shaft provided on the second housing; a bearing portion provided on the lever and comprising a shaft sliding groove for sliding the support shaft; a cam follower provided on the lever; a cam groove provided on the first housing, the cam groove to which the cam follower is engageable; a guide protrusion provided on the second housing, and a guide groove provided on the lever, the guide groove to which the guide protrusion is engageable. When the first housing and the second housing are completely fitted by the rotation operation of the lever, the lever becomes slidable with respect to the second housing.

An attachable surface cover for a USB port has a casing and a base plate. The casing has an attachment component. The casing is attached to a piece of cloth by means of the attachment component penetrating through the cloth. The attachment component is detachably connected to the base plate. The attachable surface cover for a USB port has a plug hole for insertion and removal of a USB cable. An entrance of the plug hole is on the casing. An exit of the plug hole is used to configure a USB port. The attachable surface cover for a USB port of the present invention has a reasonable design and is highly practical.

CONNECTOR

A first housing 10 includes a resiliently deformable lock arm 30. The lock arm 30 has a lock surface 34 to be arranged to contact a front surface of a panel 90 with the first housing 10 arranged in a mounting hole 91 of the panel 90. A second housing 40 includes a space portion 53 into which an arm plate 72 of a lever 70 is arranged, leg portions 57 rising from the side of an outer wall 52 of the space portion 53 while facing each other, and a bridge portion 58 extending between the leg portions 57 facing each other. The bridge portion 58 includes a releasing portion 65 capable of releasing a state where the lock surface 34 is in contact with the front surface of the panel 90.

CONNECTOR

A first housing 10 is arranged in a mounting hole 91 of a panel 90. The first housing 10 includes a base portion 27, a coupling portion 28 located forward of the base portion 27, a linking portion 29 linking between the base portion 27 and the coupling portion 28, and a lock arm 30 projecting rearward toward the base portion 27 from the coupling portion 28. The lock arm 30 has a lock surface 34 to be arranged to contact a front surface of the panel 90. The lock arm 30 and the linking portion 29 are both shaped to be resiliently deformable.

A lever-type connector includes a first connector, a second connector, and a lever. The lever is mounted on the first connector, and is configured to pull the first connector and the second connector to each other so as to engage the first connector and the second connector with each other by fitting, due to a rotational manipulation of the lever from a lever rotation start position to a lever rotation completion position. The first connector has a support shaft. The second connector has a cam groove, and a temporary locking projection disposed at an inlet of the cam groove. The lever has a bearing portion which is rotatably supported on the support shaft, and a cam boss which engages with the cam groove. A projection having a tapered portion is formed on an outer side of the cam boss in a connector removal direction.
