Apparatus and a method for optically linking AC power line with dc low voltage power line
An apparatus and a method for optically linking at least two AC and DC low voltage cascading power grids connecting at least two intelligent support boxes (ISB) each powered by two distinct AC standard power grid and separately powered by DC low voltage power grid with each grid is further linked by a cascading segments of optical cable grid, enabling two way control, operate and report electrical activity through plug in wiring devices (PWD) for supporting DC and AC plurality of connected/attached loads.
ELECTRICAL CONTINUITY COAXIAL CABLE CONNECTOR
A cable connector engages with an external thread surface of an electronic device, including a torque sleeve and a post. The torque sleeve includes a first end and an internal thread formed on the first end. The post is coaxially arranged in the torque sleeve, and the post includes a head portion and a body portion, where the head portion directly contacts the external thread surface of the device. When the torque sleeve gradually moves from a first position to a second position relative to the external thread surface of the device, one end of the external thread of the device abuts the head portion of the post, allowing the post to move axially. Having the head portion of the post in contact with the external thread surface, the cable connector is able to generate electrical conduction even if not completely fastened, which provides a continuous electrical conduction effect.
RADIO FREQUENCY CONNECTOR AND MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
A radio frequency connector for establishing a radio frequency connection with a radio frequency device is described. The radio frequency connector includes a radio frequency connection interface, an interchangeable radio frequency adapter and a positioning member. The interchangeable radio frequency adapter is detachably attached with the radio frequency connection interface such that the interchangeable radio frequency adapter is configured to be detached from the radio frequency connection interface in a disassembled state of the radio frequency connector. The positioning member is configured to position the interchangeable radio frequency adapter with respect to the radio frequency connection interface in an assembled state of the radio frequency connector. The positioning member is detachably attached such that the positioning member is configured to be detached in the disassembled state of the radio frequency connector, thereby releasing the interchangeable radio frequency adapter with respect to the radio frequency connection interface. Further, a measurement system for radio frequency measurement is described.
Connector and electronic device
A connector 1 includes a connector housing 11, a thin wire coaxial cable 17 for providing a coaxial connection between an external coaxial cable 2 and a circuit board provided in a separated housing and a shield member 12 which is provided in an inner space of the connector housing 11 and electrically connected to a shell 173 of the thin wire coaxial cable 17. The shield member 12 has a holding mechanism for holding the thin wire coaxial cable 17.
GANGED COAXIAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A coaxial connector assembly includes: a first plurality of first coaxial connectors mounted within a shell, the shell defining a plurality of electrically isolated cavities, each of the first coaxial connectors being located in a respective cavity; a plurality of first coaxial cables, each of the coaxial cables attached to a respective one of the first coaxial connectors; a second coaxial connector mounted within the shell, the second coaxial connector being smaller that the first coaxial connectors; and a second coaxial cable attached to the second coaxial connector, the second coaxial cable being smaller than the first coaxial cables.
Positioning adapter for coaxial connector assembly
A coaxial connector assembly includes a connector module having a connector body that includes contact channels. The coaxial connector assembly includes coaxial contacts received in the corresponding contact channels having a center contact, a conductive shell coaxial with the center contact and an insulator between the center contact and the conductive shell. The coaxial connector assembly includes positioning adapters received in the corresponding contact channels having an adapter body forming an adapter bore that receives the coaxial contact. The adapter body engages the retention feature to position the coaxial contact relative to the adapter body and engages the connector body to position the coaxial contact in the contact cavity. The adapter component enables multiple coaxial contact sizes to be used in the same connector module contact channel.
HOME AUTOMATION CONTROLLER AND SYSTEM FOR OPTICALLY SAFELY LINKING AC VOLTAGE LINES WITH LOW VOLTAGE DC LINES
At least two cascaded chains of intelligent support boxes linked by optical cable provide the needed elements to link the electric AC power line and low voltage DC power lines to the many known outlets and switches (wiring devices) and their loads be it AC or DC operated, with the AC and DC lines are separately drawn through separated conduits and ducts safely and accurately controlled by an home controller and/or via a command converter and a distributor.
Torque-limiting torque sleeve with fail-safe failure mode
A torque-limiting torque sleeve may include an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve configured to be coupled to one another in a coaxial arrangement such that the outer sleeve is fixed relative to the inner sleeve in the longitudinal direction. A first end of the outer sleeve overlies a first end of the inner sleeve, and a second end of the inner sleeve extends from the outer sleeve. A torque limiting feature is configured such that rotation of the outer member in a first direction enables tightening of a coupler on an interface port up to a predetermined torque limit, and rotation of the outer member in a second direction opposite to the first direction loosens the coupler on the interface port.
Self-set home automation and method for operating the home automation
A self-set home automation and method for handling the self-set home automation and the related devices including cascading intelligent support boxes and plug-in devices to provide simple to install and operate, with less wiring wherein the cascaded devices are optically linked, to include separated low voltage grid and related devices, and a converter for communicating RF, wifi and IR.
