A coaxial connector system is provided suitable for connection of high-frequency components such as high-band test modules and probes. The coaxial connector system uses a flange mating element aligned using precession guiding pins. A center conductor assembly is captive in a center bore of the flange and includes elastomer contacts which are compressed against the coaxial center conductors of the high=frequency components. The flange mount coaxial connector system provides a robust, mechanically stable mount which minimizes electrical performance changes with mechanical torque as compared to screw on connectors.

SAFETY ADAPTER FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS

A safety adapter assembly includes a first electrical connector, a second electrical connector, a connector body, and a safety sleeve. The connector body is structured to couple the first electrical connector to the second electrical connector. The safety sleeve is substantially surrounding the connector body and configured to move relative to the connector body to selectively allow user access to the first electrical connector while substantially blocking user access to the second electrical connector, or to allow user access to the second electrical connector while substantially blocking user access to the first electrical connector.

CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR TIERED STAGES
20210119392 · 2021-04-22 ·

A connection system for a quantum computer that employs constant impedance connectors with attenuation or filtering components or both embedded therein or within an adaptor removably insertable within an adaptor housing for use in a cryogenically cooled quantum computer. The connection system provides a higher density of cables traversing through a hermetic sealed top plate, and which are accessible to chill blocks to reduce the thermal energy from the signal lines. Attenuators or filter circuits are embedded in the constant impedance connector housings, or provided in adaptors that connect on each end to form mating constant impedance connections, in order to reduce signal strength as the signal progresses through the cryogenic environment and to remove extraneous electrical signal noise.
