A coaxial cable-connector assembly includes: (a) a coaxial cable comprising an inner conductor, a dielectric layer circumferentially overlying the inner conductor, an outer conductor circumferentially overlying the inner conductor, and a polymeric jacket circumferentially overlying the outer conductor; (b) a connector adapter, comprising an inner contact that is electrically connected to the inner conductor, an outer sleeve that is in electrical contact with the outer conductor, and a dielectric spacer interposed between the inner contact and the outer sleeve, and (c) a coaxial connector having an outer connector body, the outer connector body having a mating end configured to mate with a mating connector and an adapter ring, the adapter ring configured to engage and electrically connect to the outer sleeve.
Electrical connector module with shielding members engaging upon connection to a mating connector
Provided is a connector module that is highly durable and that also allows easy position alignment with a connection target instrument while maintaining high shielding performance. The connector module includes a connector case and a connector inserted in the connector case. The connector includes a contact, a holder, a conductive tubular shell, a housing and a conductive shield case. The shield case includes a first member having an elastic portion and a second member in the form of a bottomed tube. The first member forms an elastic piece contactable with the second member. Fixing of the connector case to a main body case via a fastener member causes, in the connector, elastic deformation of the elastic piece, resulting in decrease in a gap between the first member and the second member, consequently in establishment of electrical connection between the first member and the second member.
EXTERNAL DEVICE-TO-EXTERNAL DEVICE CONNECTOR FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICES
The present disclosure relates to an external device-to-external device connector for wireless communication devices, which is configured to electrically connect two spaced external devices together, and comprises two interface members and a coupling member. The inner conductor part and the insulation part of the coupling member are held together by the concave-convex fitting parts opposite to each other, and there is a first gap between the concave-convex fitting part of the inner conductor part and that of the insulation part, which allows the inner conductor part to have radial displacement relative to the insulation part; or, the outer conductor part and the insulating part of the coupling member are held together by the concave-convex fitting parts opposite to each other, and there is a second gap between the concave-convex fitting part of the outer conductor part and that of the insulating part, which allows radial displacement of the insulating part relative to the outer conductor part. The external device-to-external device connector can achieve satisfactory RL and PIM performance.
CONNECTOR DEVICE
It is aimed to improve grounding performance. A connector device is provided with a plurality of first terminal units to be mounted on a first circuit board, a plurality of second terminal units to be mounted on a second circuit board and a plurality of movable terminal units. The first terminal unit includes a first outer conductor surrounding a first inner conductor. The second terminal unit includes a second outer conductor surrounding a second inner conductor. The movable terminal unit includes a movable outer conductor surrounding a movable inner conductor. The movable terminal unit is swingable with the second terminal unit as a fulcrum. A tip part of the movable terminal unit is connectable to the first terminal unit. The plurality of movable outer conductors are electrically conductively connected via an alignment member serving as a connecting member.
COAXIAL CONNECTOR
A coaxial connector includes a plug and a receptacle that are electrically connectable to each other. The plug includes a first contact, a holder, a first tubular shell, and a shield member. The receptacle includes a second contact, a case, and a second tubular shell. The second contact includes a bottom portion, a pair of standing portions, and an extension. The pair of standing portions include respective contact portions having a wide shape and can clamp an end portion of the first contact. The extension includes a tip portion that is to be fixed to a substrate, a hold that is held by the case, and an elastic portion that is elastically deformable. The elastic portion can undergo elastic deformation in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the contact portions extend.
Coaxial connector system with adaptor
A connector system includes an adapter with a first mating portion, a second mating portion and a transition portion. A continuous outer wall extends across the first mating portion, the transition portion and the second mating potion. A first terminal positioned in the adapter. At least one receptacle has a receptacle mating section and a receptacle transition section. A continuous receptacle outer conductive wall extends across the receptacle mating section and the receptacle transition section. A receptacle inner wall extends perpendicular to the receptacle outer wall. A second terminal is positioned in the at least one receptacle. A retention member is provided in the receptacle mating section. The continuous outer wall and the continuous receptacle outer wall form a grounding shield minimizing signal leakage from the first terminal and the second terminal.
Data connector adapter for data transmission and motor vehicle socket with data connector adapter
A data connector adapter includes a plug body having first and second plug connection ends, an electrically conductive plug shield and a contact carrier. The first and second plug connection ends respectively have first and second plug contact connection patterns for connecting first and second data connectors. The contact carrier is arranged between the plug connection ends and carries two first contacts and two second contacts respectively forming the first and second plug contact connection patterns. One of the first contacts in each case is electrically conductively connected to one of the second contacts via a contact connection section. The first and second contacts are surrounded at least in sections respectively by electrically insulating first and second carrier bodies having first and second dielectric constants ε.sub.R1, ε.sub.R2. Outer circumferential surfaces of the carrier bodies bear against an inner wall surface of the plug shield at least in sections.
ASSEMBLED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An assembled electrical connector has a base having a terminal stage formed on a top thereof, an upper cap, a first conductive terminal mounted in a center of the terminal stage, and a second conductive terminal externally assembled on the base. The second conductive terminal is a ring sheet, surrounds the terminal stage, and is electrically isolated from the first conductive terminal via the terminal stage. The upper cap is tubular and is connected on the top of the base. The second conductive terminal abuts against an internal surface of the upper cap. Because the second conductive terminal is externally assembled on the terminal stage of the base and is not combined with the base via insert molding, the second conductive terminal does not need to use a machining product.
RECEPTACLE COUPLER FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A receptacle coupler includes a coupler contact assembly having upper and lower contacts each having a front mating beam configured to mate with a front module circuit board and a rear mating beam configured to mate with a rear module circuit board with an intermediate portion therebetween.
