Latching Mechanism
20210378366 · 2021-12-09 ·

A latching mechanism is applied to be mounted on a webbing of a seat belt system. The latching mechanism has a tongue assembly and a slider mounted on the tongue assembly. The slider has a bridge located at a side of the tongue assembly. The webbing passes through a bottom end of the bridge and is inserted through the slider and the tongue assembly. The webbing has a shoulder belt located at a side, which has the bridge, of the latching mechanism. When the slider is located in an unlocked position, the latching mechanism is capable of freely moving along the webbing. A tension of the shoulder belt acts on the bridge for driving the slider to move from the unlocked position to a locked position, such that the webbing is clamped and locked by the slider and the tongue assembly.

Seat belt buckle installation jig and methods of use thereof

A method of installing a seat belt buckle that includes inserting the seat belt buckle into a rear end of a seat belt opening, such that an engagement slot of the seat belt buckle faces a front end of the seat belt opening. The method further includes engaging the engagement slot of the seat belt buckle with a seat belt tongue of a seat belt buckle installation jig and translating the seat belt buckle from an embedded position within the seat belt opening to an extended position with the seat belt buckle installation jig, wherein the seat belt buckle is nearer to the rear end of the seat belt opening in the embedded position than in the extended position. The seat belt buckle installation jig comprises a body comprising a first distal end and a second distal end, and the seat belt tongue is coupled to the first distal end.

A vehicle seat that includes: a seat cushion that is configured to be raised and lowered in a seat vertical direction; a buckle that is attachable to an attachment location that is not subject to the raising or lowering of the seat cushion, and that retains a tongue provided at an elongated belt shaped webbing, in a state in which in the webbing is worn over at least a pelvis area of the occupant; and a lifting device that is actuated, in a case in which a collision of a vehicle has been detected, so as to move the occupant, in a case in which the occupant is sitting on the seat cushion, toward an upper side of the seat at a location further toward a rear side of the seat than a central portion of the seat cushion in a front-rear direction of the seat.

MAGNETIC BUCKLE ASSEMBLY

The invention relates to a device for efficiently and cost-effectively having a magnetic buckle including a buckle base locking assembly. A first magnet clip with a lock hole are disposed on a buckle base assembly, a lock tongue optionally with a second magnet are disposed on a locking assembly, two moving portions are flush with the buckle base assembly respectively, and two unlocking portions are disposed within the buckle base assembly. When the lock hole is closed through a lock tongue, the first magnet attracts a second clip to guide the lock tongue into the lock hole to achieve locking.

An insertion tongue for a belt retaining system in patient transport displays a tongue plate with a belt duct and a belt surround bar opposite the belt duct, around which, in use, a belt is placed and which is displaceably supported transversely to its longitudinal direction. The belt surround bar has two bars parallel to one another, with one or more rotatable rollers or pulleys being arranged on the bar which is outer in relation to the insertion tongue.

Buckle assembly

A buckle assembly includes a first buckle, a second buckle, an operating portion, a locking component and a resilient portion. The first buckle includes an inserting end whereon an engaging portion is formed. An installation slot is formed on the second buckle for receiving the inserting end. The operating portion is disposed on the second buckle, and the locking component is fixedly connected to the operating portion. The locking component can be locked with or released from the engaging portion. The resilient portion is biased to separate the inserting end from the installation slot. The operating portion is operated to drive the locking component to release from the engaging portion. The inserting end can be separated from the installation slot by the resilient portion, so as to unlock the first buckle and the second buckle. The buckle assembly has advantages of easy operation and simplified structure.
