A seatbelt indicator clip is shown and described. The seatbelt indicator clip includes a planar body. The planar body has a protrusion extending from one side. The protrusion is a seatbelt male connector. The seatbelt male connector is sized to be received by a seatbelt female connector. The planar body has an attachment device secured thereto. The attachment device will allow the seatbelt indicator clip to be secured to a device when in storage.

The adjustable connector includes a baseplate, a tongue at a front end of the baseplate, a webbing aperture within the baseplate, and first and second walls extending perpendicularly from the baseplate. In certain embodiments, the adjustable connector includes a rotatable lock bar including a central portion having an outer surface and first and second tabs. In certain embodiments, a front edge of the webbing aperture comprises an arced front edge extending between side edges of the webbing aperture such that a distance between a center of the arced front edge of the webbing aperture and a back edge of the webbing aperture is greater than a respective distance between each of the ends of the arced front edge and the back edge of the webbing aperture.

ADJUSTABLE CONNECTORS FOR USE WITH WEBBING OF PATIENT HARNESS SYSTEMS AND OTHER TYPES OF SAFETY BELT SYSTEMS

Adjustable connectors disclosed herein are adapted to connect webbing to a buckle. The webbing can be, e.g., a urethane coated webbing, some other type of coated webbing, or a non-coated webbing. The adjustable connector includes a baseplate, a tongue at a front end of the baseplate, a webbing aperture within the baseplate, first and second walls extending perpendicularly from the baseplate, and first and second slots respectively within the first and second walls. In certain embodiments, the slots are tapered. In certain embodiments, the adjustable connector includes a rotatable lock bar including a central portion having an outer surface and first and second tabs. In certain embodiments, each of the tabs has a cross-section with a major-axis that is greater than a minor-axis that is orthogonal to the major-axis. In certain embodiments, a front edge of the webbing aperture comprises an arced front edge.

An assembly includes a seat, a lap retractor fixed relative to the seat, a shoulder retractor fixed relative to the seat, and a first buckle fixed relative to the seat. A lap belt is retractably extendable from the lap retractor. A first tongue is fixed to the lap belt and is releasably engageable with the first buckle. A second buckle is fixed to the lap belt. A shoulder belt is retractably extendable from the shoulder retractor. A second tongue is fixed to the shoulder belt and is releasably engageable with the second buckle.

A buckle assembly includes a female buckle body that interchangeably mates with either one of a male buckle body or a retainer ring defining a leading bar. The female buckle body has a receptacle to receive an extension portion of the male buckle body slidable therein. A biased lever body is pivotally supported on the female buckle body for cooperating with a catch on the male buckle body between a blocking position retaining the extension portion in the receptacle and a released position allowing removal of the extension portion. The female buckle body also has a slot aligned with the receptacle to receive the leading bar of the retainer ring therein so that the lever body can also selectively retain the retainer ring mated with the female buckle body.

An edge, located at the side portion (35, 36) of the beam (25) forming the through hole (71), is subjected to a beveling press or is chamfered. The edge faces one side of the seat belt (4) passing through the through hole to a shoulder anchor (6).

A securement device for use with a vehicle seat belt buckle. The device includes an integrated latch plate for insertion into a standard vehicle seat belt buckle. It also includes a retention point for attachment, via spring steel clip or other appropriate means, of a personal item such as a personal safety device, holstered smallarm, or related accessories. In alternate embodiments, the device may also incorporate a variety of multitool features and interwoven nylon kernmantle cord for noise reduction.

BELT DEFLECTOR

The invention relates to a belt deflector with a main element (100) that can be attached to the structure of a vehicle, and with a belt support element (200) that is movable relative to the main element (100) and forms a support surface (231) or support edge for a safety belt (20) to be deflected.

According to the invention, the belt deflector comprises an intermediate element (300, 400) that is deformed when the movable belt support element (200) is moved relative to the main element (100), in the direction of the intermediate element (300, 400), and because of this deformation is pressed against the safety belt (20).

A multi-point seat belt system is applied to a seat of a vehicle and has a webbing locking device, an emergency locking-retracting mechanism, and two automatic locking retractors. The webbing locking device has a buckle assembly and a tongue assembly detachably disposed on the buckle assembly. The emergency locking-retracting mechanism is disposed on the seat and has two shoulder webbings connected to the buckle assembly and the tongue assembly respectively. The two automatic locking retractors are disposed on two sides of the seat and have two lower webbings connected to the buckle assembly and the tongue assembly respectively. The two shoulder webbings locked by the two emergency locking retractors and the two lower webbings tightened by the two automatic locking retractors are distributed around the body of the occupant and can fasten the occupant on the seat steadily for promoting the safety protection performance.
