A buckle assembly includes a first buckle member having an insertion member, a second buckle member, a first buckle latch, a second buckle latch, a plurality of resilient elements, and a locking arrangement. The locking arrangement includes at least two locking protrusions and at least one guiding member. The locking protrusions are extended from one of the insertion member and the second buckle body, and are arranged to form a locking channel between the two locking protrusions. The guiding member is extended from the remaining one of the insertion member and the second buckle body, and is arranged to be inserted in the locking channel formed by the locking protrusions so as to retain the first buckle member to be locked with the second buckle member when the first buckle latch and the second buckle latch are in the locked position.

A seatbelt buckle that includes a housing, an attracting member, an attractable element, and a plate adapted to retain a seatbelt clip within the housing. The member, the element, and the plate may be carried by the housing. The buckle is adapted so that when the member is electronically actuated, the element causes the plate to move toward the member and thereby release the clip.

Latch Device

A latch device comprises a housing unit, a disk unit, an electromagnetic lock unit, a pressing lock unit, and a detecting unit. The housing unit includes a housing, which has a pressing hole and an insertion slot. The disk unit includes a supporting rod positioned through the housing, and two vertical disks pivotally arranged to the supporting rod. The outer perimeter of the two disks is placed with a hook, a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion. The electromagnetic lock unit includes two electromagnetic mechanisms, two retractable bars connected to the two electromagnetic mechanisms, and two electromagnetic latches respectively connected to the two retractable bars. The pressing lock unit includes a pushbutton, and a button latch connected to the pushbutton. The detecting unit includes two detectors, which are disposed inside the housing for detecting the position of the two electromagnetic latches.

Buckle assemblies and associated systems and methods for use with child seats and other restraint systems are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a buckle assembly includes a housing having an opening shaped to receive a first tongue of a first web connector and a second tongue of a second web connector. The buckle assembly also includes a spring having a first ejector arm carrying a first magnet and a second ejector arm carrying a second magnet. A switch assembly is positioned within the housing, and insertion of the tongues into the housing to latch the buckle assembly moves the magnets toward the switch assembly to activate switches in the switch assembly and produce a signal confirming buckle engagement.

The receiver base is configured to be engageable with a first device. The insert is configured to be engageable with a second device. An optional push button assembly that has a retractable lip is engageable with the receiver base to block rotational movement of the locking tabs unless the lip of the push button is retracted. The apparatus may also include magnetic actuators and corresponding electronic switches that provide two stage locking and, optionally, provide contact state signaling to an external controller and computer to verify locked/unlocked status of the insert relative to the receiver base cavity and locking tabs.
