A plurality of beads are disposed along the flexible band. Each bead includes a tool head and the bead can be engaged with the rigid portion while disposed on the flexible band so that a force applied to the rigid portion can be transmitted to the tool head on the bead to perform an operational function. One tool or more can also be pivotally connected to rigid portion and pivoted from a stored position to an extended position.

An alert unit is coupled to the wristband and the alert unit is in thermal communication with the wristband's environment. The alert unit selectively emits an audible alarm and the alert unit is in wireless electrical communication with an electronic device. The alert unit emits the audible alarm when the alert unit detects a temperature of the wristband's environment falls below or rises above a trigger temperature. In this way the alert unit alerts a caregiver to a potential hazard with respect to the child.

To open the hook clasp, the rearward bent tip of the spring catch can be pushed away from the hook opening. Next, the loop end of a fishing hook can be attached, and the rearward bent tip can snap back in place. Safety clips can also be used to prevent the fishing hooks from being accidentally removed from the clasps. The clasps can be used for attaching jewelry ends of strands such as chains, bracelets, necklaces and anklets together.

Each of the other ends of the terminating base chain segment can be connected together, in a removable manner, when worn by a user. A first accessory chain can be connected between the first extender link, and/or a second accessory chain can be connected between the second extender links. The first and second accessory chains can be the same length. The base chain and accessory chains are interconnected and displayed without tangling around the wearer's neck.
