ELECTRONIC BOX FASTENING MECHANISM
20190350093 · 2019-11-14 ·

An electronic box fastening mechanism includes a box body, a first hook, a second hook and a resilient hook. The box body includes a mounting surface. The first hook and the second hook are at two opposite sides of the mounting surface, and they form an installation space for receiving a guide rail. The resilient hook is at one side of the second hook. The resilient hook includes a resilient arm, a contact section and a deformation space. When pressed by the guide rail, the contact section bends toward the deformation space to allow the guide rail to be inserted in the installation space, the contact section resiliently contacts the guide rail by using an elastic restoring force of the resilient arm, and the first hook and the second hook block the guide rail, so that the guide rail is prevented from being detached from the installation space.

DIN rail installing portion structure of electrical appliance and socket

A DIN rail installing portion structure of an electrical appliance and a socket are provided. A back cover of a socket includes: a fitting groove, which is fitted to a DIN rail; and a claw portion, which is formed on a first side surface portion of both side surface portions of the fitting groove. A first edge portion of the DIN rail is clamped by the claw portion to hold the socket 1 on the DIN rail. The claw portion elastically presses a first edge portion of the DIN rail in a thickness direction. On the first edge portion side of the DIN rail, there is no claw of which a width of clamping the first edge portion in the thickness direction does not change.

To enable an intuitive and inexpensive releasable fastening of a housing to a fastening rail, a fastening apparatus is provided for the releasable fastening of the housing to the fastening. A single-part lever mechanism is used for latching and unlatching the housing to and from the fastening rail. The lever mechanism has an actuation means that moves the lever mechanism into a latching position or into an unlatching position, a first lever arm that actuates a first hook provided in the housing in a first direction, and a second lever arm that actuates a second hook provided in the housing in a second direction. The first and second directions are opposite one another and the first and second lever arms are connected to one another via the actuation means such that a support section is formed that has a parabolic form having two parallel limbs.

DIN rail device mount assemblies, systems and methods including locking mechanisms

A DIN rail device mount system includes a base, a module and a locking mechanism. The base is configured to be mounted on a DIN rail. The base defines a receiver slot. The module is configured to be removably mounted in the receiver slot to form a DIN rail mount assembly. The locking mechanism includes: a lock member having opposed proximal and distal ends and including an integral lock member latch feature on its distal end, wherein the lock member is pivotally connected to the base at its proximal end to pivot between a closed position and an open position; and an integral module latch feature on the module. The DIN rail mount system is selectively positionable in each of: a locked configuration wherein the module is seated in the receiver slot, the lock member is in the closed position, and the lock member latch feature is interlocked with the module latch feature, whereby the lock member secures the module in the receiver slot; and an unlocked configuration wherein the lock member is in the open position, the lock member latch feature is not interlocked with the module latch feature, and the module can be withdrawn from the receiver slot.

ELECTRICAL APPARATUS COMPRISING A LOCKING DEVICE FOR AN ATTACHMENT RAIL

The present invention relates to an electrical device for rail mounting. Such electrical devices are mounted in use in a side-by-side relationship on a carrier rail. An electrical device for rail mounting comprises a housing having a rail receiving recess therein, at least one edge of said recess being defined by an end region of a latch member that is movable relative to the housing in a direction transverse to the recess, and resilient means biasing the latch member to move in a direction to reduce the width of said recess. Said resilient means comprise a torsion spring having a first leg and a second leg deflectable around a hinge region, said first leg resting against a protrusion of the housing, and said second leg resting against the latch member.

DIN rail electronics rack

A DIN rail electronics rack having opposed sidewalls with modified top hat DIN rails attached therein and equipment attachment rails coupled to and lockable to the DIN rails, which are modified to have a linear array of equally spaced-apart openings aligned on each side of each DIN rail. The DIN rail coupling has a proximal flat surface to abut the equipment rail base panel, and distal opposed clamp ends to engage and retain the brim of the top hat. A central distal plateau on the coupling includes two nut sockets shaped to prevent nuts from rotating while being threaded. The nut heads are configured to form three channels that align with any three adjacent DIN rail side openings. A three-toothed locking comb is inserted through the DIN rail side openings and three channels to lock the coupling to the DIN rail. A rack crown provides for lighting and fault services.

Stackable module

A stackable module has a housing provided to receive an electric/electronic component, and a clamping device for attachment to a support rail, wherein the clamping device has two latching/gripping hooks, which are displaceable in mutually opposite directions between an open position and a fastening position, and a force deflection mechanism for adjusting the latching/gripping hooks between the open position and the fastening position, said mechanism being actuable by means of an actuating element and able to be subjected to an actuating force from an outer side. In this case, the latching/gripping hooks bound a free opening distance which, for release fastening to the support rail, is greater in the open position and smaller in the fastening position than a provided support rail extent. In this case, provision is made for the force deflection mechanism to have an actuating-element-side deflection profile and a hook-side displacement part, which has a deformation portion which is deformable by a displacement force in order to generate a hook-side displacement, wherein between the deflection profile and the deformation portion, a sliding contact is able to be formed, at which the deformation portion is able to be subjected to the displacement force via the deflection profile.
