Wire stripping tool
A wire stripper operable to strip insulation from a wire, the wire stripper including a battery, a handle portion including a receptacle that receives the battery along a battery insertion axis, a motor, the motor located in the handle portion, the motor including a motor shaft that rotates about a driveline axis. The wire stripper further includes a rotary head coupled to the motor for rotation about a wire insertion axis that is perpendicular to the driveline axis. The rotary head defines a central aperture and the wire insertion axis extends through the central aperture. A blade is coupled to the rotary head for rotation with the rotary head about the wire insertion axis. The blade extends into the central aperture to cut the insulation of the wire passing through the central aperture along the wire insertion axis as the blade rotates about the wire insertion axis.

The present invention relates to an apparatus (100, 200, 300) for cutting, centering or holding a cable in a stripping head, comprising a first toothed belt wheel (1) and a second toothed belt wheel (2), which are rotatable coaxially and synchronously, but however in an angularly adjustable way with respect to one another, about a rotational axis (X), as well as a tool flange (21) coaxially connected to the first toothed belt wheel (1), in which a central opening (A) is disposed, through which the cable is able to be led or passed, the tool flange 21 comprising one or more movably attached tools (23), whereby the tools (23) are movable in relation to the rotational axis (X) by means of the positioning means (18) connected to the second toothed belt wheel (2), characterized in that the radial distance of the tools (23) to the rotational axis (X) is adjustable through an angular rotation between the first toothed belt wheel (1) and the second toothed belt wheel (2), which are driven by a common drive means (13). Moreover the present invention also relates to a cable-stripping device comprising an apparatus according to the invention.
Wire Stripping Machine
A wire stripping machine is utilized to cut and remove the insulation material from an electrical wire. A first roller blade and a second roller blade are rotatably mounted within an enclosure. An electrical wire may be fed in between the first roller blade and the second roller blade in order to cut and remove the insulation material from the electrical wire. The first roller blade is rotated by a drive assembly including a first drive gear and a motor. The first drive gear is connected to a second drive gear and the second roller blade by a chain that allows the second roller blade to rotate along with the first roller blade. The position of the second roller blade relative to the first roller blade may be adjusted in order to accommodate electrical wires of varying diameters.
ELECTRICAL POWER CABLE PREPARATION SYSTEM
Techniques, systems and articles are described for preparing electrical cables for connections to a power grid. In one example, a system includes a cable preparation device configured to cut one or more layers of an electrical cable and a computing device configured to control the cable preparation device to cut the one or more layers of the electrical cable. The computing device may determine one or more target cutting distances and determine whether an actual cutting distance satisfies the target cutting distance. The computing device may detect defects in the electrical cable. The computing device may further determine whether the cable preparation device should be serviced.
Method and Device for Stripping a Cable, and System for Fabricating a Cable
The invention relates to a device (1) for stripping a clable (2), comprising a stripping apparatus (3) for cutting in and for pulling off a portion (4) of a cable component (13, 14, 15). The stripping apparatus (3) has a rotation head (5), which can be rotated about a central axis (M) and on which a blade (8, 8′) and a counter-holder (9) for the cable (2) are arranged opposite one another in such a way that the blade and the counter-holder are directed at the central art (M). The cable (2) is guided eking the central axis (M) in the stripping apparatus (3), and the blade (8, 8′) can be advanced toward the cable (2) in the direction toward the central axis (M) in order to produce a radial incision into cable component (13, 14, 15) of the cable (2) at a defined axial position. The stripping apparatus (3) has at least one pull-off tool (10.1, 10.2), which is arranged on the rotation head (5) and can advanced onto the cable (2) in the direction toward the central axis (M), the pull-off tool (10.1, 10.2) being positioned relative to the blade (8, 8′) in such a way that, in order to pull off the portion (4) of the cable component (13, 14, 15), the pull-off tool (10.1, 10.2) engages in the incision produced by the blade (8, 8′) when the pull-off tool (10.1, 10.2) is advanced onto the cable (2).

A cutting blade assembly for use with a rotating cable preparation device includes a cutting blade defining a cutting edge and adapted to attach to a rotating member of the cable preparation device. The cutting blade assembly is selectively movable in a cutting direction for at least partially cutting a cable held by the device. The assembly further comprises a blade stop positioned adjacent to the cutting edge of the blade and defining a stop surface. The stop surface is arranged at a predetermined distance from the cutting edge of the blade in a depth direction of the blade, and extends in a direction generally perpendicular to the cutting direction and generally parallel to an axis of the cable.

The rotor-side inductive element and the stator-side inductive element are arranged to measure characteristic oscillation parameters (φ, Am, f) of the parallel resonant circuit independently of the rotation speed of the tool holder (Ir). The present disclosure relates to the technical field of cable processing, and discloses a method for processing a reaction force cone of a cable main insulating layer. The method includes: two ends of a cable are clamped through a clamping device, and the cable is enabled to pass through a cutting device; a cutting depth of the cutting device in a radial direction and a cutting position of the cutting device in an axial direction are adjusted; the cutting device is started, and the cable is cut by the cutting device to form the reaction force cone.

Provided is a device for processing an antistress cone of a main insulation layer of a cable. The device includes a support, a clamping unit, a cutting unit and an infeed unit. The clamping unit is mounted on the support and configured to clamp a cable. The cutting unit is slidably disposed on the support, capable of cutting the cable in the radial direction of the cable, and capable of performing feeding in the radial direction of the cable to adjust the cutting depth. The infeed unit is connected to and capable of driving the cutting unit and configured to drive the cutting unit to slide in the axial direction of the cable so that the cutting unit performs feeding and cutting in the axial direction of the cable.
