The cable preparation machine includes a pulley assembly rotatably coupled to the frame about the cable axis, a drive assembly operably coupled to the pulley assembly to rotate the pulley assembly about the cable axis, and a blade assembly operably coupled to the pulley assembly and rotated with the pulley assembly about the cable axis. The blade assembly is configured for cutting an insulator from the end of the cable in a first cutting configuration when the cable is positioned in the cable opening and the blade assembly is configured for cutting a cable braid from the end of the cable in a second cutting configuration when the cable is positioned in the cable opening.
CABLE COATING REMOVAL DEVICE
A cable coating removal device which is configured to remove a coating of a core wire in an end portion of a cable, the coating removal device includes: a hollow rotation shaft including, at a front end of the hollow rotation shaft, a rotary type stripping head which is configured to strip off the coating; a cable holding mechanism which is configured to hold and fix the end portion of the cable in front of the stripping head such that the end portion of the cable W is aligned with an axis of the rotation shaft; cutters which are provided on the stripping head and are displaceable in a radial direction of the rotation shaft to cut the coating of the cable; and a suction mechanism which is configured to remove stripping wastes of the coating generated by the cutters through a hollow portion of the rotation shaft.
Cable Stripping Tool
A cable stripping tool used for stripping an outer layer of a cable includes a first plier, a second plier, a cable receiving hole, a blade, a first clamping area, and a second clamping area. The second plier is pivotally connected to the first plier by a rotating shaft. The cable receiving hole is disposed on the second plier for receiving the cable. The blade is disposed on the first plier and opposite to the cable receiving hole. The first clamping area and the second clamping area are disposed on the first plier, and the blade is disposed between the first clamping area and the second clamping area; the cable receiving hole, the first clamping area and the second clamping area together clamp the cable such that the blade is able to cut the outer layer of the cable.
Peeling apparatus and peeling method
A peeling apparatus 1 includes a first peeling die and a second peeling die respectively including a pair of cutting blades 251 that peels the insulating film by being moved in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the conductive wire material 2 to cut the insulating film, and a support die 253 that supports a side surface of the conductive wire material 2 from a downstream side in a moving direction of the cutting blades 251 at the time of cutting by the cutting blades 251, the support die 253 of the first peeling die including a convex portion 2533 protruding toward the conductive wire material 2.
Cable stripper having an adjustable bushing
A cable stripper is provided which has an adjustable bushing which can be adjusted to accept a variety of differently size cables. The cable stripper is rotated around the cable to strip the insulation from a cable. The cable stripper can be attached to an existing tool to impact rotation of the cable stripper around the cable. The cable stripper includes a bushing having an axial passageway and a plurality of spaced slots which are in communication with the passageway, a plurality of cable retention blocks attached to the bushing, and a blade member mounted on the bushing, the blade member being seated within the passageway. The cable retention blocks are moveable relative to the bushing to pass through the slots and into the passageway to engage the cable mounted within the passageway. A retaining assembly is mounted on the bushing and fixes the position of the cable retention blocks relative to the bushing.
COATING REMOVING DEVICE
A coating removing device is provided which enables an improved operation efficiency of a middle-stripping operation of a coating element. The coating removing device comprises a circumferential cutter and a longitudinal cutter. The coating element is cut at two locations by the circumferential cutter to form two circumferential cut lines and the coating element is cut between the two circumferential cut lines by the longitudinal cutter so that the coating element can be removed between the two circumferential cut lines from the coated electric wire. This enables an automation of the middle-stripping operation of the coating element and improvement of the operation efficiency.
CABLE-JACKET REMOVAL TOOL
A cable-jacket removal tool is described. The tool includes cutting unit that provides a cutting cylinder that carries a blade and a die. The blade is adjustable to provide a desired depth of cut into the cable jacket. The die is interchangeable and selectable based on a diameter or gage of cable to be stripped. A drive unit that is adapted to be driven by a common, handheld, battery operated drill is also provided. The drive unit rotates the cutting cylinder and the blade carried thereby about the circumference of the cable. The drill is coupled to the drive unit such that the axis of rotation of the drill and the cutting cylinder are substantially parallel and an operator can easily apply a force on the tool via the drill in a direction substantially parallel to those axes of rotation.
CABLE STRIPPING TOOL
A cable stripping tool removes a cable jacket from a cable to expose a plurality of neutral wires, the cable stripping tool including a housing, a frame coupled to the housing, a mandrel extending from the housing and rotatable about a first axis, and a motor supported by the housing and operably coupled to the mandrel to rotate the mandrel about the first axis. The frame supports the cable stripping tool on the cable and the mandrel engages a starter wire of the plurality of neutral wires. Rotation of the mandrel by the motor winds the starter wire around the mandrel such that the cable jacket is torn by the starter wire. The cable stripping tool further includes a termination tool configured to score the cable jacket at a desired distance from an end of the cable.
Cable connector tool
A cable stripping tool is secured between a pair of planks in turn secured within a miter box. Each plank has a plurality of apertures which correspond to gauges of cable stripping sections disposed within the cable stripping tool.
Stripzall Reciprocating blade
A mountable blade of the reciprocating type for cutting and stripping insulation from insulated electrical conductors is provided which is capable of stripping or cutting a section of the outer jacketing, coating, or insulation of the electrical wire, copper or aluminum
