A fire prevention apparatus includes an inner pipe having multiple perforations along a length of the inner pipe. The fire prevention apparatus also includes an outer pipe surrounding the inner pipe, the outer pipe having a slit along a length of the outer pipe. The fire prevention apparatus also includes fire retardant disposed in a gap between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The outer pipe is configured to compress when a force is applied to the outer pipe, so as to cause the fire retardant to pass through the perforations into the inner pipe.

TRANSIT WITH SMOKE AND FIRE PROTECTION
20200153211 · 2020-05-14 ·

The present invention concerns a transit for cables, a cable bundle (9) or a bus bar (12). The transit comprises a sleeve (1) having a through opening (2) for receiving the cables or the bus bar (12). The sleeve (1) is to be received in a through opening (5) of a partition (4). A glass fiber tissue hose (7) is placed going through the opening of the sleeve (1). The ends of the tissue hose (7) is wrapped back and placed on the outside of the sleeve (1). One or more intumescent strips (6) are placed between the inside of the sleeve (1) and the tissue hose (7). A fire retarding agent (10) is placed around and between the cables or around the bus bar (12).

Fire collar

There is provided a fire collar comprising a casing defining a service conduit passage therethrough, the casing having an activation side and an installation side, wherein the casing defines an activation side located activation chamber. The fire collar has an opposing pair of shutters located within the activation chamber defining operative leading edges. In use, the shutters are configurable in a non-activated configuration wherein the leading edges are spaced apart so as to make allowance for the service conduit therebetween and when the fire collar is exposed to heat on the activation side in use, the shutters transition to an activated configuration wherein the respective leading edges of the shutters close in the passage.

Fire protection sleeve

A firestop collar for sealing of openings, especially of line penetrations, that pass-through walls or ceilings, has a frame and a block of optionally intumescent material disposed therein, and is characterized in that an intumescent inlay is disposed between the block and the frame.

In-floor electrical fitting
10637225 · 2020-04-28 · ·

An in-floor electrical fitting has a lower body that includes two half-bodies made of intumescent material. Each half-body includes a removable access wall that is also made of intumescent material and that is inserted into slots formed in the half-body. The removable access wall has at least one reduced-thickness section that can be broken off from the removable access wall to create a passageway through the removable access wall. During installation, the two access walls can be removed to allow an installer to a lay a conduit that will pass through the passageway through each access wall when the access walls are reinserted. An installer can pass power wires from one small compartment to another through the conduit while complying with code requirements calling for the separation of power and data cables.

ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY STRUCTURES

The present disclosure provides an electrical power supply structure comprising a plurality of conductors, each conductor extending longitudinally and configured to carry high amperage electrical power, a barrier support plate comprising one or more openings for receiving the plurality of conductors, a first support structure extending longitudinally from a first side of the barrier support plate, and a second support structure extending longitudinally from a second side of the barrier support plate. Each of the first and second support structures comprises a longitudinally extending enclosure having a plurality of transversely extending conductor support members for supporting the plurality of conductors.

A SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A FIRE SAFE SEALING IN AN APERTURE IN A WALL, A CEILING OR A FLOOR OF A BUILDING, AN ELEMENT FOR A FIRE SAFE SEALING SYSTEM AND A BULKHEAD FOR A FIRE SAFE SEALING IN THE APERTURE
20200115896 · 2020-04-16 ·

The disclosure relates to a system for providing a fire safe sealing in an aperture in a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building, consisting of at least two block shaped sealing elements with two main surfaces being oriented parallel to each other and at least three lateral faces connecting the main surfaces to each other, of which at least one element is made from mineral fibres and a binding agent, whereby lateral faces being arranged adjacent to each other, or lateral faces and main surfaces being arranged adjacent to each other, incorporate an angle being unequal to 90 and whereby each element is shorter than the length of the aperture and smaller than the height of the aperture.

FIRE-PROOFING INSERT FOR ELECTRIC MOUNTING BOXES

An insert for fireproofing at least one electric mounting box contains a substrate material and an intumescent layer, both the substrate material and the intumescent layer being able to undergo plastic deformation.

Sound-absorbing material and wire harness provided with sound-absorbing material

A sound-absorbing material obtained by stacking nonwoven fabrics that has a structure for both maintaining its sound-absorbing performance and providing flame-retardancy. The sound-absorbing material is obtained by stacking a base material made of nonwoven fabric and a surface material made of nonwoven fabric, in which a flame-retardant material made of nonwoven fabric having a density that is higher than those of the base material and the surface material is disposed between the base material and the surface material. Also, a wire harness is provided with the sound-absorbing material in which the wire harness and the sound-absorbing material are integrated with each other by covering at least a portion of the wire harness extending in an axial direction, with the sound-absorbing material.
